What are the best European backpack brands

I have extensively researched this particular topic. The closest alternative to Osprey Farpoint is Millet Hanang 40. It has some different design choices (in particular, it is not possible to adjust the back length as on farpoint), and it is more bare so-to-speak. I looked at it once in a shop and ha

Looking for a day pack that can function for running as well

I use the Deuter speedlite pro 19L this way. Its straps are modeled after a running vest, and it holds pretty snugly for running, especially with the waist belt. Sounds like exactly what you’re looking for. https://www.deuter.com/us-en/speed-lite-pro-19/4046051170183

They all are ultralight and weigh slightly more than refraction (300-400

Just buy a Deuter (or other available brand with good straps etc.) They often have a build in raincover, hippocket for lenscap, open sidepocket that you can put your tripod in. You can put your smaller things like extra batteries, wallet and SD cards in the compartment
