even before the M chips, which are really top tier, Macbooks were head and shoulders above pretty much every Windows laptop maker out there. Dell XPS line comes close, but it's still not quite there. and the trackpad is the best in the business and it's honestly not even close. Having recently moved

Check out the College of Engineering laptop recommendations, they typically give the best advice for new students looking at computers I’m CCE, but for me a Dell XPS has been goated for both school and personal uses

Surface are overprice and overated, far from a Dell XPS, a Zenbook S-seriee, a Thinkbook X ai or even a Thinkpad Carbon.. People who can preach Samsung or Surface never had a good laptop in their hands

Dell XPS line is in a totally different price bracket though, it's going to cost 2x a Macbook Neo. Great laptop if you can afford it though. Same honestly holds for framework.

I have owned two of the Precision 5570 (one is now my daughter's machine, and I picked up a used one this summer as a spare for my 5680) and have been very pleased with them. That's the Precision version of th

If you're an art major I might consider something like the Surface Pro. With the keyboard case it's a pretty good laptop that's also a pretty decent art tablet with the Surface Pen. That's if your art is drawing and that sort of thing. If you're looking for a laptop that will render video and 3D mod
