Yeah XPS never again. I have got one in 2017 XPS 15 battery went bust 3 years later with Dell stopped producing the battery so the only replacement was with Chinese cheap knock offs. Buy a nice Thinkpad, that will last, battery takes 30 minutes to change and plenty of spare parts around.

XPS Intel Thermal Throttling - Deactivate "Intel Turbo Boost Max 3.0"
I agree with gaming not being an intense workload. I tried using ai video upscaling and davinci resolve at the same time and my battery lowered even plugged in. I have the dell xps 15 9530 2023. Before I repasted, it still ran quietly and cool. 👍

Triple Monitor Setup on NVIDIA Laptop Bricks USB C/Thunderbolt 4 Video Output
I have MST working correctly. XPS 15 9530 -> USB C -> Dell u2520d -> Display Port -> Dell u2520d. One cable, two monitors. Suspend / resume works perfectly. Kernel 6.11, Nvidia 550. This is the most recent combo I've found that works.
