Yeah that’s why I steered clear of the 9530, there was no way it would be able to cool a big 4070 when it struggled to cool the 3050Ti and 1650Ti of the previous 9520/10 and 9500. I do totally understand where you’re coming from, my 9520 used to spin up its fans when doing basic stuff and get stupid

Ones that have enough stock to actually buy start around $2100 (Dell XPS14). Only 32gb ram max too so not that great as a workstation, and only a piddly 3 cell 70wh battery

Just configured an XPS14 on the Dell site. Base $1599 + $400 for the 358H processor + $60 for Windows 11 Pro + $50 for a 1TB SSD = $2109. Debating whether to add an OLED display for $150 but leaning against it as I don’t plan on using it for gaming, just office work and some coding. Comments? And ho
