I'd go 5k. I have Dell U2723QE, U2720Q and U2718Q on my desk next to an iMac Pro. My iMac Pro display is my favorite. Can't tell you why, it just looks better to my eyes.

Don't get the QD-OLED if you're going to work with a lot of text. You will definitely notice the fringing and the clarity itself will be ever so slightly softer than IPS.
