De’Longhi Stilosa vs HiBrew H10A — Which is Better for a Beginner?
De'Longhi Stilosa user here. If you have the budget, I suggest going for the H10A. There's just so much more features that come with that machine that could help you eke out more value over the long-term. For example, it has temperature control which the Stilosa doesn't have. That's nice feature to

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread
So you can't do latte art (as far as I know) with the pannarello wand that the entry level DeLonghi machines come with. They're too foamy. Most people take the pannarello wand off and use the rubber nozzle alone, but you have to use a zip tie to keep it from slipping off the wand. I don't remember i

Beginner! Budget [$100]
I'd say for the machine, you can buy the DeLonghi Stilosa. Reading your post, you're into milky drinks rather than straight espresso, so it would be fine even if the machine is not the best at brewing. Remember that 70% of the work is made by the coffee grounds, 20% by the grinder and 10% by the mac

Which Espresso machine should I buy?
Between these two, the DeLonghi one is gonna have better rep than the Vantro; and possibly more parts and long term reliability/support. However, I'd say get the Delonghi Stilosa EC230 instead, it's 15999 INR currently. It's a boiler design vs the thermoblock EC685, (meaning it'll take longer to hea

Looking to upgrade from this Delonghi [$750]
Although I'm usually critical of the Stilosa compared to the De'longhi ECP, it's capable of great lattes with a few tweaks. Even capable of proper microfoamed milk and latte art. Lattes are food and they're only as good as their ingredients: coffee, water, milk, syrup. Make sure: your machine is des

Downgrading to Bambino Plus [£200]
I would suggest a DeLonghi ECP/ Stilosa since you have some experience with an espresso machine. I own the Stilosa , absolutely love the capabilities of the machine, and ~2 min heat up time is super convenient , it’s always ready when I am! (For this reason alone I’m holding off from upgrading, sinc

First setup in Italy [up to 500-800 eu]
I just got the De'Longhi Stilosa EC230 off amazon as a new-house-gift for friends. It's a great entry-level machine with non-pressurized baskets, proper steam wand and 150ml stainless boiler. Make sure it is the EC230, NOT the EC260! The latter has pressurized baskets and the stupid cappuccino steam
