I have a Samsung 990 Pro 4TB that is also doing this. It happens for me when i do a windows backup. Or if I run the Samsung magician software and do the check that tests ever sector of the disk. The disk will disconnect and will not come back until a full power cycle. I just thought it was a bad dri

The Crucial T500 is good; the Crucial P310/P3 Plus/E100 are crap.

The Crucial P310 uses QLC NAND flash, which is slower and less reliable than TLC. I like the Western Digital SN7100.

I have a similar setup, and I would change a few things if I did it again. For you I’d suggest: Get a better graphics card, at least 12gb vram. I am still GPU bound in my setup and I have a higher tier card than the 5060 8gb. As much money as possible should go into the graphics card. Get a 750W pow

Slow RAM will drag down performance a bit, a 6400 CL32 kit is almost the same cost. https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/fB7scf/patriot-viper-venom-64-gb-2-x-32-gb-ddr5-6400-cl32-memory-pvv564g640c32k Crucial P310 is a QLC drive, that means low sustained write performance and longevity. 990 EVO Plus is much better. I recommend avoiding QLC devices (Crucial P310) unless you know you won't exceed its SLC cache as its performance will drop significantly (~350MB/s). QLC devices also have much reduced rated endurance. IMO QLC don't have enough endurance for single drive PCs (or as a boo
