Is it normal to take this long?

There are also trash SSDs, like Crucial BX500.

SSD: SATA vs NVMe ?

2 is not specific to a type. In general, the main problem of SATA these days, is that all the major players left the market. If you are lucky, you still can find somewhere an Crucial MX500 with quality TLC chips, otherwise in 90+% of cases it will be a QLC crap, which is literally slower than HDDs,

Looking for M.2 Cache Drives that Support ASPM & Allow Low C-States on Unraid

The Strategy: A Systematic Teardown I started with a bare-bones system booting Unraid from a USB. Is 900mAh enough for a SATA SSD?

I don't get it to be honest, then why are this adapters being sold? In what situations can I ignore "ssd required"? This is my main hurdle for getting into games that I can otherwise run. I'm always running into issues where qlc drives tanking write speed past usability, can't afford tlc, have plenty of good hard drives.

No a.i here, real world experience with just about every popular brand of ssd out there. Do I really have to show you my stack of 40 ssd's of all different brands? Your whole system can lock up if installed to a cheap ssd because even something like a bulk download will choke it. I have a crucial bx

What should my upgrade path be?

Buy a better GPU, You probably are not bottlenecking your CPU yet. What's your Ram look like? Are you on an SSD or m2 / NVME? The i5 has long been a GREAT gaming CPU, and the i5-12600k only sees marginal benefits over the 12400f at 1440p - unless you have $4000 for a whole new PC build, Target glass
