What one did you get? Edit: nevermind see the other comment "coway airmega 100" That's the one I have, was a top new York times recommended one. I recently changed the filter after ignoring it since I bought it. Good Lord did it remove a ton from my air. I need to check the filter way more often Edi

Coway Airmega 200m is great because it's real fast at removing particles. Got 2 in my house...when I close my carpeted office room, I feel a big difference with the air quality....no longer feels stuffy and my nose is no longer irritated.

You barely see Dyson recommended because they are overpriced and underperform, honestly. You are paying for the brand, not function. For a small bedroom like you are describing, you could go with the Levoit Vital 200 or Coway Airmega 200m or airmega ap-1512hh. A step up from those with a better buil

If you need to filter particulates (e.g., smoke particles) and smoke gases/vapors/odors/VOCs, you really need two types of air purifier. Most common purifier brands have very little activated carbon or other sorbent media by weight. They are designed to capture particulates quickly. You need many po

I have a Coway airmega 200M that seems to do a good job alongside a MERV13 furnace filter. The Coway Airmega AP-1512HH Mighty is the essentially the same machine with a different faceplate (and takes the same filers), so go with whichever’s cheaper. More rigorous testing and other options: https://w

I tested severe to moderate for 38 when I had scratch tests. Just wanted to recommend you ask your doc about MCAS and histamine intolerance (tryptase test). Also please get food scratch tests done if you can! Cross-reactivity can make allergies worse. Like my ragweed allergy makes me react to butter

Yeah you need to put in mind you still need to clean the bigger dust particles regularly. The air purifiers with true-hepa filter would help in removing fine dust, along with carbon filters removing VOC odors, and some other filters remove airborne allergens that need to be bought separately. Yes, they still make the Airmega 240 [⬅️this is a link] - I linked to its product page on Coway's website in a previous comment too. You can purchase the Airmega 240 directly from Coway. Use the discount codes FORYOU10 or COWAYMEGA10 for 10% off if that makes a difference in your decision. I would de

I’ve been using the Coway Airmega 200M in my flat for about a year now. It has three filters, one permanent pre-filter you can wash (they don’t sell replacements for that), a HEPA filter for dust and dander, and a charcoal filter that handles smells. It’s supposed to cover around 360 sq ft, but when

I'm also using a Coway Airmega 200m, I'm in a small apartment that has no cooking exhaust, so I keep mine between my kitchen and living room. It has a particulent sensor that works pretty well, when I'm cooking it kicks into high gear which is a bit loud, but it really only does that while I'm cooki
