Blue Air makes some nice quieter ones. I have a 211i and on auto mode it’s very quiet unless I stir up a lot of dust. The Coway Airmega 200M (and it’s near clone the AP-1512HH) is a tiny bit louder and not as nice looking but is also cheaper.

The Coway Airmega 200M is great. Fairly quiet at the lowest two speeds, priced decently including replacement filters, and not a lot of lights. If you want to be extra safe, you can also look up “light dims” and buy some. They are stickers that generally cut 50% of the brightness when you stick them

Per the AHAM 2/3 rule, a 100 sq. ft. office with an 8 ft. ceiling needs minimum CADRs of 67 CFM. If you experience wildfire smoke conditions, the Smoke CADR needs to equal the room's area, so a Smoke CADR of at least 100 CFM. Unfortunately most brands only list CADRs for the highest airflow speed/se

Definitely avoid the PuroAir pictured here. It's astroturfed to death, not high quality, and the company tried suing a legitimate review website for an unfavorable review. I wouldn't buy the Dyson recommended by someone else either. Dyson is known for glossy marketing and poor performance for many o

The Coway Airmega 200M and Airmega Mighty AP-1512HH are definitely great value units. There are a few small issues. Occasionally one or both models develop balance issues. The Airmega Mighty AP-1512HH is known for being relatively loud; the Airmega 200M has a higher top (specified) sound level than

Per the AHAM 2/3 rule mentioned in the AutoModerator comment, your 550 sq. ft. space needs a minimum of 367 CFM CADRs. This figure would be for normal pollution levels and user scenarios (e.g., no allergies/sensitivities). You may want to go higher given you're in a city. The square footage ratings

Yes, they still make the Airmega 240 [⬅️this is a link] - I linked to its product page on Coway's website in a previous comment too. You can purchase the Airmega 240 directly from Coway. Use the discount codes FORYOU10 or COWAYMEGA10 for 10% off if that makes a difference in your decision. I would de

If the room is small, the coway airmega mighty ap-1512hh or the airmega 200M (which only looks different to me) is a good choice! Super quiet on setting two. On lower fan speeds its output drops down to approx. 110 CFM on medium and approx. 70 CFM on low. https://www.consumeranalysis.com/guides/air-

I’m only familiar with the Coway. I have a Coway Airmega 200M, I actually just replaced the filters yesterday. The whole set of filters was $60, the unit itself was I think $200. It has an ionizer but you can turn it off. I also have a Levoit Vital 200s, it was under $200 and the filters are about $

I'm also using a Coway Airmega 200m, I'm in a small apartment that has no cooking exhaust, so I keep mine between my kitchen and living room. It has a particulent sensor that works pretty well, when I'm cooking it kicks into high gear which is a bit loud, but it really only does that while I'm cooki
