Can I actually pull off a red lip or does it wear me?

Yeah, that’s what I had to do. I was new to wearing any lip color and even the Clinique almost lipstick in black honey was jarring. I look back and I have a chuckle but I’m happy wearing lipstick now. Well, more lipstain with gloss/balm over ᵕ̈

14 piece Lip GWP missing Lancome Lip Idole

I didn’t get the Lancôme Lip Idole either. They subbed it with another Clinique black honey. Black honey always turns bright purple on me so I’ll donate them to the women’s shelter. At least they made some effort to sub instead of just leaving it out like usual.

Whats most overrated makeup product ever seen?

Clinique Black Honey almost lipstick! Soo overhyped. It's so drying and patchy, it really only suits certain people too

What beauty product did you buy because everyone loved it… and immediately regret? 👀

Black honey, by Clinique. Makes me look like an old lady.

Practically every MLBB lip product I try is garishly bright and orange-leaning on me. Please help a cool, muted olive out!

Not sure if these counts as MLBBs, but these are of my favorite casual/everyday wearable lippies: Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color - Telluride and Cocoa (Telluride is cooler, while Cocoa is warmer- but muted enough for me to get away with it. I use one of the two depending on how cool/warm of a blush s

Worse product you bought in 2025 at Sephora ?

Clarins black honey almost lipstick. It's definitely not a universal shade :/ it looks like dried up blood on my lips. I don't think it's made for people with fair neutral undertones. It looks good on darker skintones though so it's definitely consumer error on my side. Edit: Clinique not Clarins.

Suddenly developed an allergy to my favorite lipgloss after 3 years of use. I'm gonna THROW UP 😭

I love the Covergirl lip balm dupe of the Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick as it’s more hydrating and applies more evenly on me than the Clinique version; however, I love the Clinique lip gloss in Black Honey for it’s reddish brown shade and intense glassy effect.

What products can give me a natural 90s look?

I am not an expert but i echo the comments about technique. That being said, I have found certain products that help me achieve a similar look with little effort. For reference I have pale skin (about Anne Hathaway’s colouring) and brown hair just a bit lighter than hers. The Chanel Profond Grenat b

What beauty product did you buy because everyone loved it… and immediately regret? 👀

Clinique Black Honey dried my lips out so much they were cracked and painful. I've used sand less drying than this stuff.
