Best compact Espresso Machine ?

for a compact setup like yours i'd say the casabrews 3700 stays pretty close to the dedica in size but the stainless steel build makes it comparatively more reliable. runs at 20 bar pressure and the steam wand can actually make proper microfoam which makes a huge difference for lattes compared to th

Best Keurig Machine?

I believe Keurig falls short in the brew temp. I mean yes, you would get a nice warm cup of coffee but if you were lucky enough to have one of the older models like the K150 or K155, you could see the difference. They used to brew hotter coffee, improving the flavour extraction when it came to iced

Coffee lovers, what's the best coffee maker/machine?

Casabrews is a decent budget option, but I was happy to spend more and went with a Breville Bambino. It makes such good coffee, so I have been very impressed with it. A good way to compare is by using the coffee machine comparison sheet on Barista HQ dot com. This sheet has all the coffee machine br

coffee out has gotten weirdly expensive and it’s pushing me toward simple living

I personally enjoy lattes with espresso, which unfortunately can’t really be made at home without the proper equipment. The only problem is that decent espresso machines are expensive. I’m a SAHM so I found that I couldn’t afford daily coffees or an espresso machine (without saving). So I did some r

<$300 Espresso Setup - What is possible is crazy.

My casabrews 3700 essential has been unkind to me. Shots take 38s no matter what I do - different grind sizes, added a puck screen etc. The min yield I've been able to get is 43g on a 15g dose and it's bitter. Compare that to the Picopresso I use in my office which makes unbelievably great espresso

Talk to me about coffee machines

I Love how nobody is actually answering the question you asked. You don't give a price point so I will just tell you I had the weirdest buy ever of a casabrews I am absolutely in love with. I saw it for sale on my local Adverts for 30 quid after the the DeLonghi I loathed finally went to a well-dese

Sometimes a better machine is the answer!

You realllllllly think that all those machines that cost 1500+ are just as good as your little casabrews or delonghi? It's not about justifying the purchase, THOSE MACHINES ARE ACTUALLY BETTER! The temp is more consistent, the pump works better and for longer, the whole experience is better, more in

brand new casabrew! a few questions

I have a 3700 myself. Casabrews are very underrated. I think in a few years time they'll be generally more trusted and the go-to entry level machines. Firstly, if you get a depressurised portafilter you do in fact need a grinder, likewise a grinder is pointless if you have a pressurised portafilter.

Upgrade or no? [$1,000]

You won't notice the difference in milk drinks, maybe just the consistency of the steamed milk. Also have a casabrews machine and I make a damn good espresso with it. I upgraded to a competition basket and that made a huge difference in capacity and quality of the extraction.

ROI on your setup

it wasn't about ROI more about getting a better result from the same beans. Used to just have 2 french press pots of coffee a day that didn't taste great. now with about 700€ invested in gear I get coffee shop grade drinks at home, and probably get more from my beans as I'm making a cup at a time in
