Dubious selling practices

Canon r7 pixel size 3.2 micron. Zwo asi678mc (not even that high end in the zwo lineup) pixel size 2 micron. Now, the proper pixel size depends on many factors we don't know, but generally speaking for planetary imaging you need high pixel density more than brut sensor size. And a dedicated planetar

Noise on M43 still a thing?

It depends on the camera and what you’re comparing it to. For me personally noise hasn’t been an issue since the day both companies finally retired the classic 12MP Panasonic LiveMOS sensor. All 16MP and 20MP sensors have been fine, and the latest 25MP sensor in the G9ii is actually better than Cano

The game feels poorly made

Hard disagree. They bought a 2007 corolla and try to make it run like a R7.

My cat Beyonce said: “no more photos please”

Pictures taken with canon eos r7 and 7 artisans 7.5. They are a bit out of focus because the lense is manual and the cat didn’t stop moving

Eine Rohrweihe im Gaukelflug

Sensationelle Aufnahmen! :/

Does every birder eventually say "I need a better camera!"?

I’m using the Sigma 150-600 f5-6.3 contemporary. I think this is the same lens as yours. It works very, very well with my R5mkII. The reason for this is the faster sensor readout speed on the newer Canon R-series cameras. The only cams I can confirm this lens works well on are: R5mkII R6mkIII The ma

Is Nikon Z50 II better than Canon R50 bundle for a beginner?

Z50ii is on the same level as a Canon R10 or R7. The R50 is a cut down R10. I own an R10 but favor Nikon for full frame. I got the R10 because it was cheap (at the time, no longer) and small, but has poor battery life. The image quality of the R10 is ho-hum. I bought the 10-18mm lens and it's underw

Do you have any tips/tricks for focus?

I have a Canon EOS R7 18-150mm lens kit.

I for the life of me can’t figure out the auto focus. I switched my focus from the shoot button to an AF button on the front, which is super easy to use. It also has helped tremendously, but I still have focus issues.

On another note, I’m having trouble

Is the Autofocus sampling area actually larger than what my viewfinder displays?

The AF area is exactly what's outlined on the EVF. These things are nothing like a DSLR where the AF sensor is a completely different part of the camera. In a DSLR, it wasn't uncommon for AF points to be misaligned with its depiction in the viewfinder because the LCD in the viewfinder didn't need to
