Please give me a reason NOT to buy a Breville Barista Pro

Worked in the kitchen retail store before and a few months ago the barista pro along with the regular older Oracle touch and precision Brewer showed up on the list for items eventually going out. Unless things have changed recently. Reason for? I wish I could tell you. I personally think Breville re

New Barista Pro Grinder Slipping

Welcome to the club, happens frequently to my Oracle Touch even after switching beans and thorough cleaning. Sent mine back a few times and their service is super but they just clean it and send it back, just for the same thing to occur. IMO a Breville known deficiency in the units.

Dual Boiler - Not a Buy For Life Machine

Wow what? I’ve been considering getting the oracle touch, jet or dual boiler, for a while but this thread literally just ended any desire to get a Breville/Sage machine. Not servicing more than twice is insane.

My $500 “starter” Breville Barista Express espresso machine cost me $20,000

Happy for you, bought the Oracle touch in 2020, I had to send twice for repair on warranty, then I spent 500$ last year on a local shop to repair it, again (the most incredible thing is that i got completely stuck because I tried to descale it, and air bubbles got in, stayed in the hose and I could

Breville Oracle Touch - loud noises when not powered on then nothing and not heating.

FYI - I'm going through a similar issue with an Oracle Touch. In looking at your picture, you have steam leaks. If those haven't been addressed, you'll most likely be replacing the triac board again in the near future. From what I've found, the most common source of the leaks are the steam probes. T

Brew Issues Breville Impress

Agreed. My wife got a nice work bonus and splurged on the Breville Oracle. It worked great for about little over a year then stopped. Customs service was a pain and finally had to send it in. We wound up with a refurb replacement which lasted less than a year. Another month long back and forth with

Anybody Else Experiencing Bad Support?

I have had good support from Breville on the three occasions I have called on them. First, right after I got our Oracle Touch it was leaking. Sent it to them and they replaced the whole unit. Next, lost the screw on the tamper fan connection and they promptly sent the part (my expense). Finally, rec

Help! Grinder is not working properly

Our Breville started doing this as well, replace the burrs. I did for our oracle touch, works like a dream again. Atleast with our experience we reached out to Breville, they sent us out upper and lower burr set for free. However we have the touch model from 2019, since they have changed the burr de

Oracle Jet - BUYER BEWARE

I can relate to issues with Breville in general. Despite having multiple machines (Barista Pro, Oracle, Touch and now Jet) half of them were serviced within first year of ownership. That said, never had an issue with getting a machine swapped. Have you tried to escalate to social media? Usually that

Oracle Jet - Bug list

Here’s a rewritten version of your message: My machine is only two months old, and this morning it started failing, one function after another. I previously owned the Oracle Touch, which served me well for years, and before that, the original Oracle. I’m really disappointed in how Breville’s quality
