Espresso suggestion [$6000 budget]! Possible endgame?
For milk drinks with medium to dark roasts, Breville Dual Boiler and a Niche Zero would suit you well.

Espresso suggestion [$6000 budget]! Possible endgame?
You are already end game with the bdb and niche zero if you are making medium dark / dark traditional espresso and milk drinks. Anything else is just changing to change to get nicer gear, it won’t improve cup quality. I had the niche zero and compared to the 01 (3k) and the Weber key 2 (2.2k) the ni

Convince me not to go to Costco and buy the ninja machine. [$500]
This sort of question compares "convenience" of making your drink to the "quality" of drink you get. Both are important. Before my current prosumer setup, we bought the (expensive!) Breville Oracle (back then it was $3000 CAD, now it's closer to $4000). Like the Ninja, its design was a clever arrang

Downgrading to Bambino Plus [£200]
I have a Breville dual boiler and honestly it’s great for our use case. I make espressos maybe once a day if that. The speed of how quickly it heats up is astonishing, it feels like maybe 30 seconds or so. I also use milk/heavy cream in my drinks and I don’t think you need anything more than a Brevi

This or that? Comparing Breville espresso machines
The bambino plus and a Niche grinder is an excellent combo that takes up very, very little space and yields fantastic quality espresso and espresso drinks. All you really need in addition to that is a combo distribution tool/tamper like the Crema double sided puck-style distribution tool/leveller/ta

Beginner setup [3000€]
On our espresso journey, we started with Keurig and Nespresso. We thought we really liked coffee so we bought the (very expensive) Breville Oracle, all in one machine - especially so my wife could use its automated features, as she wanted "a coffee, not a project". I really like the idea of the mach

Meraki owners, what’s your verdict?
My dad has a breville so I’m familiar with it, but have never owned one to be able to compare best possible shot quality out day to day use. That being said you can pull an awesome shot on the meraki. Seems they worked out the kinks from the first couple waves of deliveries people have tampered abou

Upgrading from Bambino Plus: Need a machine that won't "give up" during back-to-back milk drinks [Budget $1500]
Breville Dual Boiler can reliably be found for $1k in the US if you’re willing to buy used. It’s an easy meat machine to maintain, great steam power (weaker than an E61 machine, but incredibly easy to steam with), and you can Slayer mod it if you want to add flow control down the line.
