Crumbling shower head [Sage Barista Express]

I've seen many cases like this on brevilles, the black coating is some kind of non stick layer that ends up like this eventually, breville stated that it's still safe to use at this state. As a bambino plus user I will never consider a breville machine after seeing this, even on their best machines

This or that? Comparing Breville espresso machines

The letdown here is that Breville doesn't offer an otherwise advanced unit w/o a built in grinder. I find Breville grinders to be where costs are cut the most. They feel and sound cheap, and in my experience grind inconsistently. Now I have a DF54 and it's been a rock solid performer with my Bambino

Yet Another What Espresso Machine Post: [$2000]

This is the issue I had. https://www.reddit.com/r/espresso/comments/yja12h/found_a_metal_part_inside_the_foam_nozzle_of_my/ I fixed it exactly as it was put together (I even temporarily borrowed another Bambino Plus to ensure each washer/fitting was put back in the same place). Granted, it lasted me 3 years

Bambino Plus → Cafelat Robot? Avoiding plastic in brew path [$700]

I had a Breville Bambino plus that I learned to make espresso on, and I got rid of it for the exact same reason (plastic in brew path), plus I learned that I was interested in more control and experimentation. So I got a robot (non barista version). And kept the Baratza Encore ESP that I already had

Graduation gift to myself budget [$1000]

Those two qualities are opposites, as the quality gets better with less electronics and automation, which are the things that really help with ease of use. Personally at your budget, I'd probably go for the De'longhi Stilosa EC230 that Lance Hedrick among many others have review very favourably and

Decision - Profetic Go would you Buy / Buy Again as 1st prosumer?

I had a Bambino Plus before the Go. It was my first machine that I used for 2 years... And I would regularly clean it. The pump started becoming gradually weaker as time progressed so I got rid of it. It's a starter machine so perhaps not directly translatable of an anecdotal experience to higher en

I am never buying a Breville again

The direction appears in my Breville Bambino Plus paper manual that came with my machine, but I think that Breville either never implemented the feature or got rid of it.

Upgrade time

I upgraded from a Bambino Plus to a Quick Mill Pop Up, and it’s been a major step up. I never felt like the Bambino got the best out of lighter roasts, even medium-light beans. The Pop Up has much better temp stability (you've got 1/2 liter of water at the right temperature and a lot of metal in the
