Should I get a Px8 S2 for bday?
So I got a pair of Px8 S2 last month for my early birthday present, and I really, really enjoy them. A few points to be aware of though: At the sub-$1,000 price range, you can't have both best ANC AND best possible sound quality imo. I also have the XM6s and they have fantastic ANC (but meh sound),

Is the Px8 S2 worth the extra money over AirPods Max?
I had the Airpods Max for 4 years. They have amazing sound quality and the best ANC I have experienced. I recently tried a PX8 S2 in the store and was blown away, so I bought it. Upon testing them side by side the first day though, my first thought was that the difference wasn't that big. However, a

HDB 630 vs Bathys OG (vs PX8 S2)
I've owned these sets. The PX8 S2 is energetic out of the box; the recessed midrange, and boosted treble and low frequencies are how most consumer headphones are tuned, which is why some listeners will have issues with sibilance on certain sets. The PX8 S2 are especially strident; I prefer the PX7 S

Just join the Px8 family
I tried a pair yesterday that I could have gotten for less than the px8 s2. I still chose the b&w They look much better, feel much better, and are better for travel. The sound on the h95 was a little better but.. Nothing to warrant your nose in the air comment and eye roll. What a snob lol

PX8 007 - upgrade to PX8 S2?
The sound is a huge improvement. The px8 sounds decent, but the bass is realllyyy muddy. Everything is expressed much more tightly with the s2 Like the other commenter mentioned, they needed to loosen up for me. I had actually posted mine for sale because they were not pleasant to wear. Thankfully I

P100 SE current state
I’ve owned many « high-end » bluetooth headphones over the last 2 or 3 years, including the Sennheiser Momentum 4, Bose QC Ultra Gen 1 and 2, B&W Px7 S2e, B&W Px7 S3, B&W Px8 S1 and S2, Beoplay H95, Focal Bathys, Sony XM5, and several others… Right now, the Cambridge Audio P100 SE offer by far the b

My Take on B&W Px8 vs Px8 S2 - A Professional Musician’s Perspective
Thanks for the detailed review. I am in the market for a good pair of headphones. Currently own an old Bose model (QC 35ii), which has served me well over the years - but feel that I deserve an upgrade. I was deciding between Bose UltraComfort Gen 2, Sony XM6, and one of the B&Ws. I have tested the

Px8 S2.... Wow. What an Upgrade.
I've tried out so many headphones recently including XM6, QC ultra 2, M4, B&W S2e, and I was pretty happy with PX7 S3, but I was tempted to try PX8 S2. PX8 S2 is so well balanced and makes music feel so alive, turning it into 3D. Your description sounds pretty accurate. It was worth the upgrade for

Apple Airpods Max vs B&W PX8 S2 for an iPhone user
I tried APM, px7 s3, px8, and px8 s2 back in December. I personally hated the APM, they were not comfortable for me, and the sound was great in certain genres with bass but noticeably worse for genres that are more full and balanced. ANC was better on the APM, but that shouldn't be a surprise as the

WH1000XM6 sony
I Iike B&W sound and design in general and I tried the Px8 s2 yesterday, I got the XM6 last month. The sound signature was mostly natural, very slightly bassy, which I like. Looks good and very light. The XM6 with QCC LDAC is very good and the volume, detail and app usability is far better. Having h
