Convince me *not* to buy the px7s3

I love B&W's headphones. Got the px7 s2 and px8 s2 You can't beat the build quality. They're lower profile and comfy as hell, super fun to listen to, and the ANC keeps engine noise out. I have no complaints, other than that I wish they sounded like the Focal Bathys Bose has ok sound. Wouldn't call i

Just join the Px8 family

I tried a pair yesterday that I could have gotten for less than the px8 s2. I still chose the b&w They look much better, feel much better, and are better for travel. The sound on the h95 was a little better but.. Nothing to warrant your nose in the air comment and eye roll. What a snob lol

PX8 007 - upgrade to PX8 S2?

The sound is a huge improvement. The px8 sounds decent, but the bass is realllyyy muddy. Everything is expressed much more tightly with the s2 Like the other commenter mentioned, they needed to loosen up for me. I had actually posted mine for sale because they were not pleasant to wear. Thankfully I

Apple Airpods Max vs B&W PX8 S2 for an iPhone user

I have both. It is my experience that in use with 3 devices, they have very similar device switching performance. I know that’s not your question, but I’m just getting that out of the way. For your question: In the end, I really like both, but I think the Px8 S2 are more comfortable, and sound sligh

PX 8S2 vs Focal Bathys

I have both and also the MG... Read it and I hope it can help you. Sound Performance The B&W Px8 S2 (The "Musical" Choice) Signature: It has a warm, lush, and bass-heavy sound profile. It’s designed to be smooth and "expensive" sounding rather than surgically accurate. Strengths: The low-end has

Apple Airpods Max vs B&W PX8 S2 for an iPhone user

I tried APM, px7 s3, px8, and px8 s2 back in December. I personally hated the APM, they were not comfortable for me, and the sound was great in certain genres with bass but noticeably worse for genres that are more full and balanced. ANC was better on the APM, but that shouldn't be a surprise as the

Thank you for your help deciding which PX8S2 to keep. I decided on the McLaren edition to match with my AMG MW75.

MW75 has punchy, aggressive bass and high-energy treble; PX8 S2 has a wide, airy soundstage. PX8s2: Has a "Hi-Fi" tuning. The bass is deep but tight—it never overwhelms the mids. The midrange (vocals) is exceptionally lush and textured. B&W updated the tuning in recent iterations (compared to PX8) t

Headset til gaming

Lidt kontroversielt, I know, men har aldrig forstået hvorfor man absolut skal have tudegrimme headsets, bare fordi man gamer. Jeg har B&W PX7 S2, men skulle jeg købe nyt i dag, ville jeg gå efter PX8 S2. Man kan købe forskellige pads til ørerne. Jeg købte en med cooling cushion, som er ret nice til

What headphones to buy in 2026?

Bose QC Ultra Gen 2 would be my pick. Best bass response, great little app to tune sound to your liking. Surprisingly very resolving even with gobs of bass or treble. Always smooth yet detailed. Floats on the head. Very comfortable. Sony XM6 sounded extremely muddy and boomy to me. I did not like th

Px8 S2.... Wow. What an Upgrade.

I feel the same way. I'm constantly thinking about how damn good the PX7 S3 are, so of course I want the PX8 S2 because it's the polished version of it. If even a small discount comes, I could get weak. You can hardly get closer to perfection when it comes to Bluetooth ANC headphones. The PX8 S3 wou
