Mihon on E-Ink
I've been using J2K and Komikku on boox for years and they work great. I tend to turn off the parts of the ui that's more animated, use the light dynamics theme, and turn on the flash on page setting. I also make sure that my system refresh is on 1 tap so I won't have ghosting issues.

I’m twisted and deranged and I’ve never been real with myself about it until now… kindle accessories
I think there are cases that using a page turner is a necessity. As I got older I find that capacitive screens stop responding so well to my fingers and I have to spend a little more time getting my phone to register my touches. It may seem small but it compounds especially when turning pages or scr

Sick of Colour E-Readers
Don’t forget that Boox let Page 7 languish with Carta 1200 after Go Color 7 was released. For me the reason is simple. Money. They can charge more for color screen whereas the innovation in bw e-ink has pretty much peaked. Just look at the comparison between Carta 1200 and 1300 devices and they are

My 13 year old wants an e-reader, help.
This is such a great gift! I also have ADHD and ereader actually helps a lot to focus on the book, especially with seeing how many minutes/pages is left in a chapter Main and most popular companies are Amazon Kindle, Kobo, Onyx Boox I don't advise to buy Amazon Kindle, you will be trapped in their e

Going to buy air 5c. What are some good/necessary accessories.
I‘m using a Lamy EMR pen with Wacom tips. Read about it multiple times in several subreddits about eink devices and it's definitely the best writing feeling I had with digital notes so far. The tips wear down quite fast though, I have to replace a tip after around five months (I write two pages per

Has anyone tried the Reader app on a BOOX?
Yes, I have a BOOX page, and I bought it specifically so I could read EPUBs on e-ink using Readwise Reader. It’s a generally positive experience. The Reader app is just a little slow to load initially and for the EPUB to open up. However, once the book is open, it’s a nice experience, and it’s easy

👋Welcome to r/logosbiblesoftware - Introduce Yourself and Read First!
This one is selfish, but I bought a Boox Go 7 after watching your video with Chuck Kelly. I absolutely LOVE reading my bible on e-ink, and having Logos work on e-ink is a game changer. But, flipping pages is annoying. Logos doesn't have an option to flip pages using the volume buttons like other app

Switching from reMarkable → BOOX Note Air5 C — looking for tips & advice
Are you using ChatGPT to write Reddit posts? I hope I don't answer a bot… I have a Note Air4 C which is probably more or less the same as the Air5 C. I shortly tested the original Remarkable and the new one with color. The Air4 C and the first Remarkable feel pretty much the same. Quite paper-like e

I want to get my wife an reader but she uses so many different apps/sites to read. What's my best option?
Onyx boox go color II or better yet the Palma 2 pro. The Palma 2 Pro seems like the best fit since it’s phone sized and can fit in a pocket. Plus microsd slot to expand storage and orange backlight to ease strain on the eyes. Not sure if your wife reads comics or media with color in it so I recommen
