I have a Note Air 4c. I work in a tech retail store and we have the Remarkables on display - having tested both I can't say I felt that the texture of the screen on the Remarkable was any better than on the Boox which has a pre-applied matte screen layer (which I believe is true for the 5c as well).

IMHO, all Kaleido 3 color displays are flawed - dark and unusable without front light, muted colors, long pen tip to ink distance - compared to Gallery 3. I’ve tried the Boox Note Air 4C and was disappointed that I had to keep the front light on at all times, and the writing feel was not much better

You are not alone! On day 3 owning new Air 4C I put the reader into bag, hang the bag on the chair not realizing the bag strap is longer than the chair. So bag ends up hanging but also partially on the floor. I move the chair so one of the legs goes over the bag. Not noticing that I sit on the chair

I just got into grad school and after lots of research decided to go with the Boox note air 4C. The EMR pen for annotating is really nice, the size of screen supports split screen so I can make a separate note document while reading a PDF, and since I have smaller Boox e readers the syncing is reall

Note Air 4C for sure! Improved Kaleido 3 screen, more current Android version, better writing experience. Durability has never been an issue for me and I have multiple Boox devices.

I recommend the Note Air 4C for your use case because I’m using it in combination with my iPad. I have found I’m using the Note 4C more and more each day. I can get my textbooks on Kindle app and the VitalSource app just fine. I take lecture notes that sync to my other Boox device. It’s small enough

In your case, top priority would be to identify exactly what you want to use the device for. Some uses simply can not be combined in one device; "large for reading/annotating pdf's and small to carry it around easily ", "very sharp contrast and also colour+front light". That is why choices have to b

Our university uses adobe within the library. I got the box note air 4c for this purpose as I couldn’t use my kindle. I tried and tried to get the adobe digital editions to work. For me, the boox device is great. But Adobe Digital Editions is such a giant p.o.s that my original intent has not been u

Hi there, I also have both. Go Color 7 is great cause is light and portable, but screen size makes it hard to enjoy other than epubs, news and note taking (occasionally). Air 4C is great, but heavier compared to the boox 10.3” go (same size). For Manga I will suggest the Air 4C if weight is not an i

Former Geology PhD student... Long reading is great on the Air 4C. I have one. If you are reading laying down it does get heavy quickly. Get a loop thing that goes around your finger so you don't drop it on your face. I ended up getting the Go Color that I can dedicate to reading. Very little to no
