Note Air 4C

I have a Note Air 4c. I work in a tech retail store and we have the Remarkables on display - having tested both I can't say I felt that the texture of the screen on the Remarkable was any better than on the Boox which has a pre-applied matte screen layer (which I believe is true for the 5c as well).

IMHO, all Kaleido 3 color displays are flawed - dark and unusable without front light, muted colors, long pen tip to ink distance - compared to Gallery 3. I’ve tried the Boox Note Air 4C and was disappointed that I had to keep the front light on at all times, and the writing feel was not much better

You are not alone! On day 3 owning new Air 4C I put the reader into bag, hang the bag on the chair not realizing the bag strap is longer than the chair. Note Air 4C for sure! Improved Kaleido 3 screen, more current Android version, better writing experience. Durability has never been an issue for me and I have multiple Boox devices.
