I have a Note Air 4c. I work in a tech retail store and we have the Remarkables on display - having tested both I can't say I felt that the texture of the screen on the Remarkable was any better than on the Boox which has a pre-applied matte screen layer (which I believe is true for the 5c as well).

I just got into grad school and after lots of research decided to go with the Boox note air 4C. The EMR pen for annotating is really nice, the size of screen supports split screen so I can make a separate note document while reading a PDF, and since I have smaller Boox e readers the syncing is reall

I quite literally purchased a Boox note air 4C for the sole purpose of reading RPG modules and being able to write on the PDF while playing. The Neoreader (PDF) Is great and able to do that, you can do spreads in landscape mode and single in portrait. Or you can split screen and have another notes s

I recommend the Note Air 4C for your use case because I’m using it in combination with my iPad. I have found I’m using the Note 4C more and more each day. I can get my textbooks on Kindle app and the VitalSource app just fine. I take lecture notes that sync to my other Boox device. It’s small enough

I'm biased as I got mine nearly free, but love by Boox note air 4c. BUT I mostly use it for graphic novels and comics. And as a note pad. It is pretty heavy to read books, I got a little Kobo Nia I try to do most of my reading with. The libby/overdrive can be a headache at times for library books.

I’ll chime in on this. The Kindle is great for reading but the processor on the Note Air 4C makes the experience better for large PDFs. Boox has a dedicated specialized PDF reader which works great and allows annotations. With Boox you can install any of the e-reading apps you want so it’s overall a

best handwriting recognition on these devices so far is from Boox. I would say a Go 10.3 is perfect for this if you don't need color. if you do, a Note Air 4C is also a very good choice. if you're in a well lit place you frequently won't even need the frontlight, but if you do it is not typically th

Before I had a fuckton of notebooks, sticky notes, and books laying around. Now it's all been replaced by my Boox note air 4c. I have a seperate notebook per task, all my annotations are synced in drive and I can access research paper annotations through zotero.

I use a Boox Note Air 4C for this. The 10” screen is a bit tight for split screen. The Tab XC is their color 13” model which reportedly is not as good in terms of handwriting feel but is otherwise a similar device.

Swapped from a scribe (OG purchase, loved it to bits) to a Boox Note air 4C. Box has WAY more features, including Android App Support and Al handwriting on a completely different level (I am writing this in Cursive). I love the muted E- ink colours, and I love reading my magazine Apps/playing Chess.
