I picked up a Boox Note Air 4c since i mostly read comics/manga. I honestly don't see a need for anything else unless I pick up regular text.

Supernote Manta or Boox Note Air 4C are your top options for this list. Boox is getting better at organization but Supernote is still king. Boox is going to be the more flexible device though. I would not worry about "distractions," most things that qualify are simply bad experiences on e-ink.

Mine is a Kindle basic which does not support note taking. I would suggest check the Kindle Scribe, but the Boox Note Air 4C (just released 5C) offers more flexibility as it is an Android device.

I just got into grad school and after lots of research decided to go with the Boox note air 4C. The EMR pen for annotating is really nice, the size of screen supports split screen so I can make a separate note document while reading a PDF, and since I have smaller Boox e readers the syncing is reall

I quite literally purchased a Boox note air 4C for the sole purpose of reading RPG modules and being able to write on the PDF while playing. The Neoreader (PDF) Is great and able to do that, you can do spreads in landscape mode and single in portrait. Or you can split screen and have another notes s

I recommend the Note Air 4C for your use case because I’m using it in combination with my iPad. I have found I’m using the Note 4C more and more each day. I can get my textbooks on Kindle app and the VitalSource app just fine. I take lecture notes that sync to my other Boox device. It’s small enough

I see that and can't help but think it's far too small to be an effective note taker. I thought my Kobo Libra Colour was too small to take notes on, which is why I never bothered to carry the pen around with it. But damn, that Palma is even worse. I'll stick to my Boox Note Air 4c for taking notes,

I'm biased as I got mine nearly free, but love by Boox note air 4c. BUT I mostly use it for graphic novels and comics. And as a note pad. It is pretty heavy to read books, I got a little Kobo Nia I try to do most of my reading with. The libby/overdrive can be a headache at times for library books.

Hi there, I also have both. Go Color 7 is great cause is light and portable, but screen size makes it hard to enjoy other than epubs, news and note taking (occasionally). Air 4C is great, but heavier compared to the boox 10.3” go (same size). For Manga I will suggest the Air 4C if weight is not an i

Before I had a fuckton of notebooks, sticky notes, and books laying around. Now it's all been replaced by my Boox note air 4c. I have a seperate notebook per task, all my annotations are synced in drive and I can access research paper annotations through zotero.
