reMarkable Paper Pure | Launch event
Shipping with the RMPPM panel density of 264 PPI would’ve been defensible. It’s not as sharp as the 300 PPI on the Supernote Manta, Boox Go 10.3 Gen II, Amazon Kindle Scribe, etc., but it’s close and barely noticeable in daily use. The Pure at 226 PPI is a real quality of life difference, and every

reMarkable Paper Pure | Launch event
This device seems like an extension of their failed enterprise strategy—designed for corporate IT procurement, which won’t be as sensitive to a quality of life difference like this. Tough to see the consumer who’d go for it. On a tight budget, a refurb Manta, Scribe on sale or with 20% trade-in disc

Cheap, large, android ereader recs pls 🥹
I think the issue is that the 10+ inch Android devices - since the screen itself makes them quite expensive already - is that they’re largely intended to be multi-functional tablet devices and e-notebooks. So they’ll have all the bells and whistles, as they’re going to be expensive either way. I’m g

Boox go 10.3 lumi reviews?
hi, I had a Boox Go 10.3 (Gen 1) for a month and switched to 10.3 Lumi about a week ago. I switched for the front light. Biggest diff is the pen so far (aside from light). Had a pen 2+ but that doesn't work on this one.

Budget irrelevant, larger sized screen with lights + best display in 2026?
Boox Go 10.3 Lumi? It’s an Android tablet but one more suitable for reading and note-taking than anything else people usually use tablets for. Otherwise, if you don’t need to use any apps (for library, subscription service etc), then anything large enough and with a BW screen. Kobo Sage sounds good,

BOOX Go 10.3 (Gen II) Lumi ordered !
The stock cover is not optimal. I found the BOZHUORUI Magnetic Case for Onyx Boox Tablet Go 10.3 Lumi to be a solid alternative. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DB7HH1BG

Teacher looking for advice on choosing a digital notebook (Kindle Scribe vs reMarkable Pro vs Onyx Boox Go 10.3 II)
A BOOX tablet, although Android just like your current tablet, won't do the same things your current Android tablet does. E-ink display technology is simply too slow. Android e-ink tablets are great as e-readers, but quite awful as generic Android tablets. However, sharing the Android DNA means you

E-Reader for reading fiction and scientific papers
Squeeze your typical PDF into a small size (you can try with the dimensions of a 7’’ reader or a phone form factor device) and consider if you can read it comfortably without zooming in. Zooming is not very convenient on eInk screens, so … a small device, if you can’t read the text as-is, will maybe

My Kobo Sage has died, I need a new eReader, need advice please
If you’re using zoom on a 8’’ reader, then maybe it’s worth going a size up, not down? 10’’ gets a lot more expensive in general, but in addition to the Kobo Elipsa and Boox Go 10.3 Lumi, there’s the new PocketBook Inkpad One, which might be worth a closer look? (Given the “budget” price for a devic
