Lots of better alternatives. Viwoods Aipaper, Viwoods Mini, Boox Note Air 5C, Boox Go 10.3 Lumi, and others from Bigme and Supernote. They all run Android, are more powerful, have better screens, allow you to use apps, and are generally better priced.

Other than the more expensive Android devices (Boox Go 10.3 Gen II Lumi, Boox Note Air 5C), which may just have far more options than you need, I guess maybe the Kobo Elipsa or the quite new PocketBook Inkpad One (probably the most “budget” device in this screen size, but for essentially just readin
