reMarkable Paper Pure | Launch event
Shipping with the RMPPM panel density of 264 PPI would’ve been defensible. It’s not as sharp as the 300 PPI on the Supernote Manta, Boox Go 10.3 Gen II, Amazon Kindle Scribe, etc., but it’s close and barely noticeable in daily use. The Pure at 226 PPI is a real quality of life difference, and every

Initial Thoughts
I just got mine today! Takes a little reddit research and tinkering buy I love it! I actually like having buttons! I have a Boox go 10.3 lumi so fortunately I have already dedrm'd a ton of books and only buy from ebooks.com now for easier conversion.

Help me choose my ideal e-reader: Kindle Colorsoft, Kindle Scribe, Kobo Libra Colour, BOOX Go Color 7 or reMarkable?
First off, I'd say, don't pretend you can write and journal or take notes on a 7" device. It won't happen or be worth it. Perhaps you should get a clipboard and a pen and see if you actually like taking handwritten notes. If so, you need a 10" or larger device. 10" can still be held in one hand and

This device seems like an extension of their failed enterprise strategy—designed for corporate IT procurement, which won’t be as sensitive to a quality of life difference like this. Tough to see the consumer who’d go for it. On a tight budget, a refurb Manta, Scribe on sale or with 20% trade-in disc

Cheap, large, android ereader recs pls 🥹
I think the issue is that the 10+ inch Android devices - since the screen itself makes them quite expensive already - is that they’re largely intended to be multi-functional tablet devices and e-notebooks. So they’ll have all the bells and whistles, as they’re going to be expensive either way. I’m g

Help Me Find an E-Reader That I Can Love as Much as I Loved My Scribe
Okay so aside from Remarkable, you have the Supernote, Boox, Pocketbook, and Bigme tablets with the same 10 inch size as the Scribe. I love the Boox Go 10.3 Gen 1 (no light) because of the free emr stylus. It's the same tech (emr, i mean) as the scribe's stylus. If you need the front light, there's

1 of 2 - Videos attached - (Go 10.3 (Gen II) Lumi - Ghosting - It's a real issue.)
Sounds like you didn't appreciate the challenges of running normal apps on eink. There are compromises, many of which are assuaged with BSR cleaning up the normal ghosting, but the Go 10.3 doesn't have BSR. Throwing random settings at the wall and seeing what sticks is a recipe for frustration. BOOX

Boox go 10.3 lumi reviews?
hi, I had a Boox Go 10.3 (Gen 1) for a month and switched to 10.3 Lumi about a week ago. I switched for the front light. Biggest diff is the pen so far (aside from light). Had a pen 2+ but that doesn't work on this one.

PhD research: Go 10.3 Gen 2 vs. Note Max vs. (hypothetical) Note Max Gen 2
FWIW: Partner and I have boox, both did humanities PhD and subsequent research/study/life with them. I have note 3 which I think is similar size to the go 10.3 (not 100% sure tho) and she had max lumi and now a newer max, I think the note max. In terms of OS mine, which is older, is perfectly fine i

Reccomendation Request - e-Ink Display For Reading PDFs Before Bedtime
It realluy depends on your form factor preferences and whether you need a built in light or not. I would recommend the Boox Go 10.3 Gen 2 Lumi (with light) or the Boox 10.3 Gen 2 (no light). Aa great 10.3 inch tablet for bothe reading and notetaking and annotating PDFs.
