Same boat, dust allergy and rosacea here, so I needed something that actually pulled its weightcuz most are duds. Go for the Blueair 211, it will legit change your my skin and sinuses. The HEPA filter on this one uses a combo of mechanical filtration (HEPA) and electrostatic charging. That second bi

I deal with dust mite allergies and for me the biggest difference came from running a strong HEPA unit in the bedroom nonstop, not just during the day. I’ve used the Blueair 211+ and a Coway model, and both noticeably reduced that morning sneezing and stuffy feeling.

get an automatic air filter. I can personally recommend the Blueair Blue 211+ Auto, but there are a lot of different ones available and it's hard to go wrong as long as you buy i) a vetted brand that's ii) intended for the room size you use it in. the idea with an automatic air filter is that it run

My allergies are the predominant driver of my meniere's but I've never done immunotherapy. The keys to address my (mostly pollen and dust allergies) have been: being prescribed montelukast (Cingulair) which apparently attacks the roughly 50% of allergy pathways that antihistamines do not (it attacks

This affects your health, can you ask people to at least store things in sealed tubs or inside boxes of something that can be dusted by the cleaner to reduce the dust for health reasons? And if there is carpet, removing is best, but if not if you can get the cleaner to use a carpet cleaner (the wet

I have TERRIBLE allergies. My nose drips continuously. I have 3 BlueAir 211 (2800 sqft townhome; Bedroom, living room, kitchen) and one 411 (by my cat’s litter box) When I’m at home, I experienced zero allergy symptoms. As soon as I get my car and drive out of my garage , my nose starts running. This! I just got my luggable to replace my blue air 211+ and it is quieter running than the Blueair is on the lowest setting. 300sq ft of coverage gives 5 air changes in an hour, I believe. Plus, it's going to cost me $4/month for filters if I change them out every 6 months.

That's not the point. The original context is my comment: Some people want to avoid this because of possible health effects associated with ionizers or changes in gaseous air chemistry. ...and then you said (in the form of a question) "California’s strict regulations" basically ensure that the "heal

For a 300sqft room assuming 8ft ceilings you would need a purifier with a minimum CADR of 200 to get the recommended 5 air changes per hour. Yes, you will need two purifiers. Also remember that CADR is measured with the unit on top speed, which is always the loudest. Do not run them on auto. Run the

It's not that there is no truth out there, it's just that air purifiers work differently for individuals, depending on their living conditions and sinus/ allergy problems. I'm a big fan of BlueAir, have two older model classics and two older model 211+. I would recommend you get one Classic Pro CP7i
