Setup a camera in your apartment. They're relatively inexpensive. Gives you peace of mind while you're at work. Edit for spelling...B) Second edit for OP. Check out the Blink cameras. They can store footage locally which is why we use them. Fairly inexpensive as well. You'll be able to see what's go

Hamster watching
Affordable indoor security cameras like the Wyze Cam, Blink Mini, or Eufy Indoor Cam for 24/7 hamster monitoring with night vision and motion detection.

I made my Blink cameras actually work locally (no subscription, no cloud lag)
That will really depend on your setup, number of cameras, etc. Usually a 30-second clip is around 4 MB, or about 7.5 seconds of video per MB. So on a free Google Drive (15 GB), you could store roughly (15 × 1000 × 7.5) / 60 / 60 = 31.25 hours of clips. The BlinkPi has a setting to automatically “pru

Home security cameras without monthly payment
I have used Blink both with and without subscription. I can always put a thumb drive in the hub for video storage and no subscription is required. I have eight between inside and outside and they never ever lose connection. And the battery life on the wireless ones is awesome. The actual cameras are cheaper than the

Remote assistance with television

I use something like the BroadLink RM4 Mini for the blaster (works with an app), and a basic indoor Wi-Fi cam like Wyze or Blink to keep an eye on t

In-condo camera (insurance co rule) only when on vacation for >3 wks
With all that being said for indoor use cameras, I use blink minis for pet cameras and to monitor exterior door entrances. I get notifications on my phone and I can see what is setting it off. I have to pay a $10.00 subscription fee, that less than a double scotch at the bar.

Camera to have in my room
I don't mean to argue with the other poster but you do need to realize that cell phones are not designed to be full use security cameras that stay plugged in all the time. As small as it is there is always a risk of the lithium battery inside of it reacting poorly to this type of use. Personally if
