I have a BMPCC 4K, and Idk where to start...any advice???
I stated with a BMPCC 4k not too long ago, and no idea of how to do anything at all… probably still don’t lol. I’m so glad I learned on this though. These cams are ridiculously good. Cheap too. A few things I found on the way that may help with what Google searches etc (there is so much golden info

BMPCC4K Still good?
Another fanatical BMPCC 4K user here lol This camera is incredible. The image is superb. BUT, you pretty much have to rig this thing out to compensate for all of its shortcomings, like no CAF, terrible battery life, and whatever else you consider a con. But once you turn this thing into a proper cin

What is a fair price for a BMPCC 6k today?
6K has a larger sensor (Super 35) versus the MFT sensor on the 4K, so the noise level is better, especially in the shadows. But the 4K is not terrible in that department, so don't let that dissuade you from getting the 4K. The BMPCC 4K is great. but I wish Blackmagic made a 4K Super 35 camera. I got

Pro colorists here, what do you guys look for a camera that you would use personally like for travel?
Partial to Blackmagic cameras, BMPCC 4K and 6K are good on a budget. Or Alexa’s, also the best color science and handling for more $$$

Creator studio or stand alone purchase?
Yea, that's the unfortunate thing about FCP. Plug-in, plug-in, plug-in. It almost feels like a shell that exists for no reason other than to prop up the plug-in developers. And you don't even get the best offerings from companies like BorisFX. Their FCP versions are no where near as good as the Avid

Im a self taught film student and I wanted to know the best cameras I could buy for my budget around 500 - 800$?
It's tough to go wrong with the Pocket 4K. If you find one used it will leave money left to get a lens and other items you need. Here's a film I shot primarily on that camera: https://youtu.be/rbT8S-GQRoo The Pocket 4K has a great sensor with second ISO. Good false colors. BRAW and Resove are incred

Reality hit after film school: no more gear to borrow. What’s the smartest first camera setup on a budget?
my budget is really limited right now Without a budget we sadly can not help you. How much for all together, camera, lens, tripod, spare batteries and storage? Sony Alpha (I think the A7 IV), and that size and form factor Do you need realiable video autofocus yes or no? Thats a really important ques

Looking for a film camera on a budget
BMPCC 4k is a great start if that is your budget. IMO just keep going with BlackMagic cameras though, they are great and a solid value, plus working with BRAW is great. If the C50 is in your price range, get a Pyxis 12k instead.

Looking for Used Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, and have Questions.
Data cards, either CFast2, high quality SDXC cards, or a decent USB-C SSD. The data rate of the P4K even at its lowest settings is likely going to be quite a shock compared to what you're used to out of the 700D. Also I'm noticing that they didn't actually list the focal length of that Samyang lens,

Selling PYXIS 12K With Monitor & Cage
Yeah it would be nice if all the brands could at this point lol. I feel like Blackmagic still has the best overall cameras for the money anyway though, I mean if I was crazy successful I'd maybe want an Arri instead of an Ursa 17k or whatever, but for anything sub 10k I feel like they dominate.
