If you absolutely need the best motion clarity (comparing to CRTs) then Zowie is still the answer surely but tbh I've been looking at these newer Tandem OLEDs which achieve a similar brightness

Have both the XL2586X+ and a 1440p 480hz lg oled. I got the oled first a while back and if i had to pick one, id honestly go with oled. Although it will depend heavily on your use case. For me, i sometimes sit in bios for hours (still image/borders). I also dont mind the somewhat washed lcd colours
