I don't game competitively but if I did I'd get the monitor that runs the highest refresh rate. Time to upgrade pc, help?
I'd say wait 2 more years for the next tech because even tho a 5090/9950x3d can get like 800-1000 average fps , it still won't get you above p1-360fps consistently across all maps making the zowie xl2586x+ pretty much a really expensive 320hz monitor.
