Mini pc best brand

Technically, none of these Chi-NUC brands have been on the market long enough to warrant "reliability", notably with Geekom & GMKtec having less history than Beelink & Minisforums. Possibly, the best perspective is customer service. Beelink currently has the best consensus, with Minisforum taking th

Mini PC Windows Buying Help: Geekom, Beelink, or GMKtec? (Max €500 Budget)

Beelink SER8 owner here. Very happy with my Beelink. Back in January I went through a similar manufacturer list and despite missing oculink for an egpu I felt I'd unlikely ever buy, I settled on the SER8. I really couldn't be happier with it. I had to extend the boot timeout else I had to access bio

Has anyone in the UK bought directly from Bee-link?

I ordered a SER8 direct from the Beelink website. Price seemed better than Amazon and it stated that it would be shipped from a UK warehouse so no extra charges. The unit was delivered fine and it seems to be working well (no malware or unwanted software as far as I can tell). My only observation wo

Best MiniPC to run SteamOS on?

I have the Beelink SER8 and I just Installed Steam OS 3.7 2 days ago and it's running flawless. I love that I can play all my games there in the comfort of my living room or grab my Steam Deck for on the go. Just installation takes quite a while, you'll be in a black screen for a bit just leave it a

Help me choose: SER8 vs K8 Plus

The Beelink SER8 has single fan cooling with bottom ventilation, and is the quieter of the two. The 8745HS isn't acknowledged by AMD, requiring custom AGESA firmware only supported by the manufacturer (AZWBeelink). The GMKtec NucBox K8 Plus has dual fan cooling & a fully ventilated case, with a 8845

Mac Mini M4 vs. UM890 Pro — which is the better upgrade?

In short, with posts on Minisforum's recent CS degradation, the Beelink SER8 8845HS or GMKtec NucBox K8 Plus would possibly be considered the more popular mPC choices in this class. The largest advantages of the Mac Mini M4 is Apple's ecosystem, engineering & long-term support. With the ecosystem a

Mini-PC recomendations for up to ps3

I have the Beelink Ser8. You will not be able to do games like GOW III, or Last of Us. But I am playing many PS3 games with almost no issues. Some of them you really have to tweak the game settings (Fallout 4, Batman Arkham Asylum) but most work out of the box on mine. If I could do it over, I would

Looking for a mini pc for music production

I would say go mac mini as well, but I am currently very happy with a 64gb, 2x1tb beelink ser8 running win11 (winhanced) and av linux. Class compliant focusrite solo works with both. Runs cool and quiet with a few easy bios tweaks at balanced power and has been as steady as a rock so far.

Quick Retro Emulation Question

I dedicated a beelink ser8 to being a batocera box up to some ps3 and switch gaming, but mostly for the systems below it Batocera would be my recommendation to making it console like and simplifying the whole configuration.
