Beelink sudden boot loop after power loss

We're sorry you're dealing with this boot loop — it's a known behavior on the Mini S12 Pro after a total power loss, and based on your description, the root cause is straightforward. What's happening: The “Boot Option Restored” screen is the AMI BIOS telling you it lost the saved boot entry from NVR

Mini S12 pro under Ubuntu hangs on reboot

Helped a couple of others with a similar issue, finding that the reinstallation of Windows presented asimilar experience. In these instances, the MINI S12/S13 had a defect, returned or exchanged. So NOT expect this to change or prices to drop back down. That’s NOT going to happen. AI is here to stay and the rich and corpora

Thinking about switching to mini PC to save power...

For what it's worth, if you care about potentially buying the same mini PC a few months from now (to add a new node with the same spec, or replacing your current one in case of issue), Beelink is not the way to go. I bought a few S13 Pro (N150 based, 16GB, 2 NVMe slots and two 2.5Gbps NICs) in June
