Ye.. I'm in the same boat at the moment. I hate it too :DI have a 1080p monitor and want to upgrade to a 1440p 27". I had the 27GS75QX but it was too dark for me. Then I ordered the 27GS85QX but came with dead pixels ..now I have the ASUS Strix XG27AQDMG but it gives me headache and eyestrain and th

I currently got 4k qd oled 27” and text clarity is not issue at all. Previously had 1440p 27” woled and jesus, text clarity was REALLY BAD (XG27AQDMG). With 4k I think there wont be a single issue, loving it currently but this asus tandem looks spicy (my room has quite a lot of light so I suffer fro

Excellent article. A key takeaway for me is that W-OLED have their gamma tied to the refresh rate which is something I noticed when I had the Asus XG27AQDMG (see https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/s/Kf5oRt9I8B). This makes W-OLED monitors unusable at lower refresh rates in my opinion, at least withou

It looks like a grey banding. I had the same issue with my ASUS XG27AQDMGR monitor. Since your LG OLED was purchased from an outlet, I would check how long it has been powered on for previously, as it could be suffering from burn-in.

Does the same go for oled monitors? I recently returned an asus xg27aqdmgr because it very likely gave me headache and general discomfort looking at it.

I had it on g60sd and lowering refresh rate didn’t fix that. I’m now using asus xg27aqdmgr and no luck either. My gpu is 7800xt and I’m planning to get rid of this piece of crap. To addition I had issue with certain apps giving grey screen/freezes and drivers pop up message with occasional random pc

Don't get the XG27AQDMG, that's the first gen of that model and has horrible text rendering. Instead get the ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMGR which is the 2nd gen and fixes everything that was wrong with the first one. Better text rendering, better Clear Pixel Edge, higher brightness, better proximity

I have this problem but its the opposite. when i enable the hdr on windows and launch a game (lets say Stalker 2 or cyberpunk) the black get crushed to oblivion. My monitor is an oled asus XG27AQDMG. The image is way better on sdr than on hdr. I tried with different setting but it looks horrible.
