I hate buying monitors

Ye.. I'm in the same boat at the moment. I hate it too :DI have a 1080p monitor and want to upgrade to a 1440p 27". I had the 27GS75QX but it was too dark for me. Then I ordered the 27GS85QX but came with dead pixels ..now I have the ASUS Strix XG27AQDMG but it gives me headache and eyestrain and th

ASUS launches ROG Swift 4th Gen Tandem OLED PG27UCWM and QD-OLED PG34WCDN monitors

I currently got 4k qd oled 27” and text clarity is not issue at all. Previously had 1440p 27” woled and jesus, text clarity was REALLY BAD (XG27AQDMG). With 4k I think there wont be a single issue, loving it currently but this asus tandem looks spicy (my room has quite a lot of light so I suffer fro

Want an OLED for under $500. Is this a good option?

This is a great option, the Asus XG27AQDMG is also frequently on sale and is a slightly better, glossy WOLED option

Exploring and Testing OLED VRR Flicker - TFTCentral

A key takeaway for me is that W-OLED have their gamma tied to the refresh rate which is something I noticed when I had the Asus XG27AQDMG (see https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/s/Kf5oRt9I8B). This makes W-OLED monitors unusable at lower refresh rates in my opinion, at least withou

Don't ever buy MSI products

I didn't have this issue with MPRT if I remember correctly, sad to hear it. I bought a new one and went for OLED for the first time, I got the Asus XG27AQDMGR.Pretty happy with it so far, the colours are just as good as this MSI (even better I'd say because I realise the MSI would oversaturate I thi

Is it actually worth it to buy OLED or other above average monitor for gaming?

If you can afford it, yes. Anyone who tells you otherwise doesn't have an OLED. I recommend you avoid QD-OLEDs though. QD-OLEDs have more issues in my opinion compared to WOLEDs. I recently returned an Alienware AW2725D QD-OLED monitor, and I can't recommend QD-OLEDs after experiencing their purple
