New gaming laptop
I can't speak to the current situation with UE5 and the current iteration of the laptops but I played Squad UE4 for years on a 2019 ASUS TUF Gaming A17 and was very happy. It slowly got a little worse over time and by the end I could only play with a room fan pointed at it due to overheating issues,

Suffering Shuttering? Audio Cracking? Helldivers 2 Need Performance and Optimize Update
Answer is the laptop. It isn't borked or faulty, just HD2 on laptop specs suffers from issues. My Legion and ASUS TUF A17 had this problem. 12800HX, 3070ti 150w and 6800H 3070 140w. On the Legion (12800H) I could only get a near solid 60 on low SHD if I used lossless scaling. Soon as things got hect

Whats a good laptop used or new? 4k60 editing Max
Any modern gaming laptop with dedicated graphics (like RTX4060) and 32GB of RAM will be enough for basic editing. But of course, the more power the better, especially if you are using a lot of effects and fusion graphics. I would suggest larger screen as DR interface is pretty small. I use Asus Tuf

Gaming laptop.
I have the ASUS TUF A17 gaming laptop and I freaking love it. WoW runs flawlessly. The first time I booted up WoW on it and was able to crank up the graphics settings, it was like I was playing a whole new game lol. So if you want my recommendation, I say go with the ASUS. I’ve had mine since shortl

ASUS Laptops Have Had a Keyboard & System Bug Since 2021. They Know. It's Still Not Fixed.
Sorry for the light-hearted reply. Having highly unique/specific reproducable errors with the Asus is so frustrating. I have an ASUS TUF Gaming A17 (2023) FA707XU. I had a ton of problems out of box, until I deleted Armoury Crate and replaced it with a keyboard light freeware program. I had people s

How reliable is Linux as a main OS if you have NVIDIA?
I recently installed debian 13 on my asus tuf a17 which has a RTX3050ti in it. I didn't have too much trouble on the whole, though I was aware of many of the tricks and fixes from being on ubuntu before that. On debian, it's wise to stick to the recommendations from the wiki, such as not downloading
