Battery charge minimum/maximum levels
The laptop I'm using right now also has a similar feature (ASUS TUF A17), though I don't think it actually bypass's the battery, I think it just limits the battery's max charge.

Right time to repaste?
My tuf a17 with ryzen 7 7435hs and rtx 4060 started to show high temps within 3months from buying. Despite using llano v10 cooler cpu was throttling. Factory paste was dried out, gpu was fine. Charge decrease laptop lifespan?
