The zephyrus g14 is pretty easy to repair all considered. Use aliexpress and ebay for parts. Seems your internals work fine. Screen repair is common and easy to source if you wanna do that right now. Same with hinges, you can get full screen+hinge assemblies right now for ~450USD. Watch a few videos

The comments got some great tips! although for the 2024 specifically, you do NOT need to remove the fans, wifi card, SSD, or anything else to get to the cooler. The cooler for the 2024 actually sits on TOP of the fans, so the process is very straightforward. This video is for a different model, but

Here's the process for the battery - it worked for me:"Before plugging the battery back in, hold the power button for 30 seconds. After plugging the battery power back in, you can hold the power button for 30 seconds. Use the barrel plug and plug it in, and see if the charging light turns on. It sho

The deal is that every single manufacturer now tries to shave off millimeters of thickness (something no one asked them to), making the whole laptop trash in the meanwhile. Case and point - ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14, the 2023 model was great with its upgradable RAM (to 64GB) and good cooling. The 2024 m

Around $215 on the in-game purchases since December 2024, mostly the monthly packs and the cheaper items. The true cost is quite a bit higher... my 2018 iPad struggled with the game, so I upgraded to an iPad Pro M4 in January 2025 ($999 not counting the $250 or so in trade in credit for the old iPad

Bought a 2025 zephyrus G14 5070ti late July, it started randomly rebooting, and wouldn't wake from sleep, restored from factory , reset restored from online image, changed ssd, would still randomly reboot and have problems waking from sleep. Just sent it off to Asus and got it back after they had it

This is the tutorial I followed, it's for the 2023 model but the layout is identical to the 2022 model: https://www.reddit.com/r/ZephyrusG14/comments/1fnowri/the_ultimate_guide_for_repasting_asus_zephyrus/ Here's a video of a person repasting theirs (it's not a tutorial per say but it's good enough to fol

Ok. Let's be practical. Do you have the financial ability to replace it if it died? Would it financially ruin you? If yes, honestly I would be very hesitant to do this. Second. Is it still going to be under warranty for long? If yes, then I would let it be. In the unlikely event that LM leaks, Asus

I think the 5070ti model will go on sale for 1999 for Black Friday. Given that it is a high-demand model, since it is the first one in the lineup to offer 12GB VRAM, ASUS won't discount it too much. From what I've seen, G14 laptops don't go more than 300-400 off for at least a year. The 2024 4070 mo

I replaced a Dell XPS with the top spec 2015 Blade 14 a few months ago because the Dell could not handle 3D rendering without overheating. The Razer fan is fairly quiet at full speed and heat has not been an issue. Battery life is decent. I can actually spend a few hours in 3D modeling on a flight (
