Yup. Got a G14 ASUS laptop about 6 years ago. Got constant blue screens. There were many, many threads on r/ZephyrusG14 about it. Turns out they fucked up how the dynamic processor adjustment works. Had to modify power management in Windows and explicitly disable processor performance boost mode, or

I will sound like an asshole, but the majority of “issues” you are seeing on this sub are over exaggerated. Basically, you will see a few types of “issues”: Type 1: OMG, my laptop is reaching 80C, G14 sucks, Asus sucks. Well, your g14 is designed to run up to 95C without much throttling. If you want

The zephyrus g14 is pretty easy to repair all considered. Use aliexpress and ebay for parts. Seems your internals work fine. Screen repair is common and easy to source if you wanna do that right now. Same with hinges, you can get full screen+hinge assemblies right now for ~450USD. Watch a few videos

And here my 2020 G14 is doing just fine 5 years later due to regular thermal paste. I was planning on applying LM at one point, but didn't due to the downsides. Asus should just start using PTM6950.

DO NOT USE ISPROPYL ALCOHOL to clean your screens people. There are numerous coatings on modern tvs (atleast, thr good ones) and most probably you'll damage that coating and your screen will look like you vomitted on it. There are so many horror stories on r/monitors and similar subreddits. It was a

OP please listen to this person. Do not pay him a single cent. He’s an adult and knew the risk he was taking. His laptop isn’t worth Jack, 2050 is 3 generations old. 1.7k is a very generous amount for a laptop with a 2050. If I were to give my valuation, it’s 1.2-1.5k max. And that’s coming from an

The deal is that every single manufacturer now tries to shave off millimeters of thickness (something no one asked them to), making the whole laptop trash in the meanwhile. Case and point - ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14, the 2023 model was great with its upgradable RAM (to 64GB) and good cooling. The 2024 m
