Fellow programmer here. Bought PG27UCDM few months ago and text is crystal clear. Can warmly recommend. Samsung Odyssey G8 was also under my radar but I decided to pass due to coating and missing power delivery for my MBP. Only thing which i would change is stand ... they can really made it simple a

4K looks fantastic, but the image is juddering really bad for me when walking left and right (everything around me looks like it's shaking horizontally). It's really distracting. I have a ROG 4K OLED (PG27UCDM). Issue does not occur with any other games. I tried the 3.0 update before the Switch 2 Ed

If he thinks the PG27UCDM has unbearably blurry text he's gonna lose his shit looking at the C5.

If text clarity is your top priority, I would invest in a 4K IPS panel. I code a lot everyday and I'll take my 4K IPS over my 4K OLED each time. Plus the text clarity is top notch on IPS for me at least. Also you don't need to worry as much about burn-in or image retention. Lastly, if purchasing the

Had a 27“ 1440p QD-OLED, text fringing was really bad. Got the PG27UCDM (27“ 4K QD-OLED) and the problem is solved. 1440p is too low of a resolution to have good and readable text without fringing. But mainly it’s a problem with the subpixel layout, no workaround here besides higher resolution or WO

Buy the 4k monitor. I’ve got a 5080 also and paired it with a PG27UCDM from Asus. The thing looks beautiful and the 5080 is plenty of power. Also, DLSS looks MUCH better when running at higher resolutions. I think it produces and beautiful image and it’s much better than native with TAA.

Definitely get nothing less than 4K monitors. I now use a Dell 27" U2723QE and a LG 27UP850K-W as a secondary monitor and it works really well with my M2 Max Mac Studio. If you’re looks for a gaming monitor and have the budget to spend, this is the next monitor on my to buy list: the Asus PG27UCDM 2

Ngl you’re missing out heavy. I’m currently using the 32” pg32ucdm on a trial run and it’s nice don’t get me wrong, but if you play any FPS games on mouse and keyboard on a desk and don’t sit back with a controller you’re going to have a very jarring experience. I consider myself an above average pl

27GS93QE's biggest issue is low PPI, not the panel technology of OLED. The display has a PPI of 108, which is low enough that you will be able to discern individual pixels in text. Take a look at 4K 32" panels, where the PPI will be closer to 140 and text quality radically improves. Even better for
