Here is my OLED Monitor that has never been turned off for 2 years.

I've been using an OLED for months and never turned it off like totally power off. It goes into sleep mode which basically turns off the LED so yeah, safe. No burns on my end. Using PG27UCDM

Best 4K Monitor as of 2025?

For the most part, OLEDs knock IPS out of the water. Better motion and overall picture quality. The only reason you'd go for IPS is if you want a brighter screen or you're worried about the risk of burn-in with OLEDs. That said, the ASUS PG27UCDM if you want an OLED or the Acer XV275K if you want an

Bought OLED for hype; feeling like my old IPS was better

I went from a 165hz 1440p ips acer predator to a pg27ucdm and it was night and day. Literally had the whole family just staring in awe.

Bought OLED for hype; feeling like my old IPS was better

Had a 27“ 1440p QD-OLED, text fringing was really bad. Got the PG27UCDM (27“ 4K QD-OLED) and the problem is solved. 1440p is too low of a resolution to have good and readable text without fringing. But mainly it’s a problem with the subpixel layout, no workaround here besides higher resolution or WO

Still confused about what type of monitor to get.

Definitely get nothing less than 4K monitors. I now use a Dell 27" U2723QE and a LG 27UP850K-W as a secondary monitor and it works really well with my M2 Max Mac Studio. If you’re looks for a gaming monitor and have the budget to spend, this is the next monitor on my to buy list: the Asus PG27UCDM 2

My experience trying OLED after IPS

Not sure where people get these demonstrably wrong ideas. But OLED monitors are just as bright as OLED TVs, and are often brighter: LG C5 OLED TV: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/c5-oled Sustained HDR 100% Window 216 cd/m² Asus pg27ucdm 27" OLED monitor: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/a

Looking for a new 4k 32 inch glossy OLED… Recommendations?

Everyone has different opinions and for me PG27UCDM (32 inch model exists) blows the Studio XDR big time. Mini-LED will be the future but it’s just not there yet.

Is there a big difference between 1440p and 2160p on a 27 inch screen?

Probably just the picture Woled vs qd oled, thats why the 4k colors are popping out like that. The ppi on the 4k 27 is way higher and it basically blows the 1440p out of the park on every param. I love that pg27ucdm so much!! The only two things which are better on the aqwp are the true black and th

What’s a good monitor for ranked

ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM - its 240hz so a little overkill for PS5 which max out at 120hz, but its extremely fast response times. It's also OLED so will look good for other games as well. 24" and 27" will have faster refresh rates. This ASUS is one of the best for console gaming for fast paced ga
