Apple M5 Pro & M5 Max GPU Analysis - M5 Max GPU on par with the GeForce RTX 5070 and faster than Strix Halo
But compared to these dumb strix halo laptops it’s an easy sell. https://rog.asus.com/us/laptops/rog-flow/rog-flow-z13-kjp/ $3700 for integrated graphics

Z13 with XG Mobile 4090, EGPU RTX 5080 or on its own?
I don’t think Z13 Max 395 has the XG Mobile port. Only USB4. You can only buy the latest Asus eGPUs that support Thunderbolt 5 (backwards compatible, but lower bandwidth), but you’re paying for something overpriced that will probably not give you good performance. Cost-wise, I’d build an eGPU with o

Do I buy ASUS ROG Z13 Flow Max 395 or a Gaming laptop?
I just sold my rtx 5070ti laptop and Asus rog Xbox ally x in favor of the z13. The flow is one of the most versatile machines I’ve ever used and I don’t miss the laptop or any of the other devices that it replaced. if gaming is your main focus, get the laptop, set up a battle station in your room or

AOOSTAR AG02 is not rated for 110 volt! It is 220 v only
I use 110v with a 5070 ti and haven't had any issues. I use it with my Rog Flow Z13 with the Ryzen 395 and it works beautifully. Playing Crimson Desert at 4k using dlss 4.0 4x frame gen and getting 180-200 fps.

Did I overpay?
The Ally X really ironed out many of the small kinks of the original Ally and proven to be a great handheld. The Killswitch case is also super solid and will provide great protection should you want to toss the Ally X in your bag on the go. While larger screens are cool, if you are considering porta

Blown away by the z13, 2 days in ~ 64gb
Heck yeah, storage upgrade is a must. Lucky for me I've got 2TB in my old laptop, a 1TB portable, plus some old gaming desktops with m2 slots, so I just need to organize and swap the Z13's SSD for 2TB+ and I'll be golden. On the lighting and Armoury/Sync stuff, coming from Nvidia I'm also figuring o

Worth upgrading from 2020 model to 2025?
I've just replaced my 2020 G14. Waiting for delivery. Wildcard Asus proart PX13 Strix Halo 395 64gb (I got 25% off a 64gb version, 128gb was too expensive to justify). The deal breaker.*60hz screen (but colour accurate, touch/stylus, 3k). The upside. *Trades blows with rtx 4060 or even low wattage lap

Would this be a better replacement to my current tower
The flow Z13 is a crazy machine. Not without flaws, of course, but it's a great machine. CLEARLY it is a niche product both for the price and for the use. It is more expensive than a gaming notebook and has less power than a gaming notebook but does not weigh 3,5 kg. Those who buy a Flow Z13, in my

My fellow gamer dads
I bought an Asus ROG Ally X. It makes gaming a lot more convenient. I also travel a bit for work so it helps to have that with me on the plane or hotel. I also have an Asus Flow Z13, which is an easy computer to game on as well.
