Some peple.....

It’s true that you can play FF7 Rebirth at 60 FPS on the Asus Ally…..However this will introduce visual artifacts and latency. The most desire setting is wait for it. 30 FPS or 40 FPS at 720p or 900p. But likewise it is playable at 50 FPS to 60 FPS with sacrifices. Source: I own an Asus Ally X

The screen is actually great?

Even the next ROG Ally X by ASUS and Microsoft which costs $700-$1000 doesn’t have an OLED VRR screen because it doesn’t exist (edit: and ASUS has confirmed that they weren’t willing to compromise on VRR to put an OLED panel in there). I don’t know why people seem to be holding Nintendo to a standar

400 a good deal for a steam deck?

He’s talking about the non-Xbox version with Z1 Extreme chip. I just got the ASUS ROG Ally X, which has 1TB SSD, 24GB RAM and 120hz screen, for $430 used. The battery is much larger too.

I just installed SteamOS on my LeGo S White. What now?

I've just gotten the Xbox Asus ROG Ally X, and I have to say, the FSE is much better on that than the Legion Go 1. All of those slightly unresponsive moments, or the weird controller navigation that sometimes occurs... Gone. When it's ready for the Legion Go, it definitely will be better.

Worth it ba Steam Deck Oled?

I was able to snag a Steam Deck OLED with a 1TB SSD for around ₱33K about two to three months ago. All I can say is, for me, it was worth the price I paid, especially since a brand-new Steam Deck OLED with 512GB and 1TB currently costs around ₱44K and ₱50K, respectively. I also emphasize that it is

FOMO with Oled

It's always relative. An OLED panel on a Steam Deck is amazing.... when the price starts at $549 and ends at $649. Then you can't get it because of the lack of availability and now it's some kind of unicorn. It's not. I own it. I like it a lot. But it's not the be all, end all of anything. The only

Missing features

After owning an Rog ally X and the legion go 2 the software between to two might look similar but lots of times Lenovo software is half ass done. The legion go 2 to show fps it's always complaining about needing to be in full screen. That never happens on the rog ally x. Asus has a top bar style per

Please help me decide...

If you don’t mind the slightly smaller screen, I’d consider the ASUS ROG Ally X (2024) second-hand. It has the same chip as both of these, 24GB RAM, and 80wAh battery. I got mine for $430 USD off of Facebook Marketplace. It’s so much easier to hold and the battery is significantly better than both o
