Microsoft reveals major price increases for all Surface PCs as RAM crisis continues

I used to stay on Surface because they were the only option for a proper dGPU in a 2-in-1. But now, Asus has such great alternatives with the ProArt PX13 and the Flow X13 - and for much, much cheaper - that I really don't see the appeal of Microsoft hardware anymore.

Just bought Z13, not sure I like that hand feel of it tho

Your use case/wishlist sounds very much like mine, and I also considered all of the same options it sounds like you are. The ProArt PX13/GoPro Edition would be basically perfect for me if not for the 60hz display. It's so frustrating because the Max+ 395 chipset is incredible, but every device that

Worst Laptop Experience Ever

Reinstall Windows, the stock one is pure hot garbage and do not install all the ASUS crap (other than MyASUS for updates). For wifi card yeah... Switching to Intel made all the difference. Was unable to reliably game whatsoever on MediaTek. I agree it is definitely not the best experience, I also ha

i think i should order another one

2x T60p, x201T, x230T, X1 Yoga g3 - that's what I have now after numerous other models.. and now I stopped. Lenovo finally made Thinkpads boring. Switched to Asus PX13 - compact and powerful, exactly what the X13 Yoga should have been, but haven't.

Asus Rog flow x13 2027

Unlikely I think, Strix Halo on the Z13 and ProArt PX13 performs roughly similar at this power level and we're kind of already at the limit as to what's physically possible in a 13 inch chassis. It probably wouldn't have the XG Mobile port either as Asus has fully committed to USB4 / Thunderbolt for

What would you do for your daily laptop?

I have an Asus ProArt PX13. Has an RTX4050, touchscreen and some real ports in addition to dual USB-C (USB-A, full-size HDMI). Hostorically, every other laptop I've gone from big (because I need some horsepower) to as small as I can get (because I travel all the time and get tired of the monster lap

Difference between desktop/laptop ?

I have an Asus px13 that was in sale a few weeks back and I'm very happy with it. It certainly gets hot, but performance is fine and it really makes the value proposition a lot more worthwhile. (As it's a powerhouse for just any use case you throw at it) Running on battery cuts performance quite dra

High end gaming computers, living in the province, surge protection & brown outs

I also gave up my high powered gaming desktop and 5K monitors...it hurts at first but honestly, you get used to it quickly Really, a laptop makes more sense, especially if your home base is Cebu - you will likely be taking mini vacations way more often, whether to Bohol, Boracay, Manila, wherever -

PX13 vs ROG Flow Z13 for drawing

This is a great point that deserves a new thread. The new Asus pen 3 is a sneak new release that comes with the new px13. I own a 2025 z13 coming from a surface pro 8 and I absolutely love my new device as so far it's everything I ever wanted out of my surface, sacrificing only a few millimeters of

Brand new... glad I didn't buy.

It’s crazy to me the difference in experiences people have. I joined 3 months ago and I’m using a Asus ProArt PX13 (4060 8gb, 32gb RAM) and I have not experienced one system issue or significant in game bug, and I usually play 2-3hrs a day.
