The flicker can vary from panel to panel. It was pretty bad on my PG32UCDM, but I barely notice any on my PG32UCDM3.

XG Mobile 2025 failing Nvidia driver install on Xbox Rog Ally X
How do you connect it to your external screen? Via HDMI or DP? When I installed those latest drivers my DP 2.1 connection with brand new PG32UCDM3 stops working... Also Asus doesn't seem to be listing them on their website yet...

buying my very first monitor for my new desk setup
I hear the Asus PG32UCDM3 is the top dog atm, though it's expensive as shit. Not really worth it imo especially since Asus warranty/support is terrible compared to Dell

XAX + PG32UCDM3 + XG Mobile 5090 + Nvidia V32.0.15.7324 via DP 2.1 = FAIL !!!
Nothing works. The moment I install latest Nvidia driver from AC, Windows start behaving oddly. E.g. I cannot restart it from the taskbar (restart button is non responsive). At this point also my Raikiri II Xbox Controller doesn't work. E.g. I click Xbox button I can see for a moment Windows is thin

My journey from Windows to CachyOS and sadly back to Windows...
Were you using KDE? I had flicker until I set Adative sync to automatic in the KDE display settings. Before I had it set to always and it would flicker like crazy, at least in normal desktop use. In game it will flicker on certain menu screens or loading screens but I don't even notice it anymore. 7

Paired Asus's True Black glossy 32' XG32UCWG oled with mine and it's a match made in heaven. I had 2 'end game' QD-Oleds in the past (PG27UCDM and PG32UCDM) and don't recommend them.
