Seeking: MiniPC/SBC with PCIE 5 +2 nvme current gen cpu
Had not run into the Evo-T1. That said it looks like the final vesion has no PCIE 5.0, 3x NVMe 4.0 and an occulink aint shabby, but a hair short. Also looks like they went with H series Core 200, not V for the final design. Which actually I prefer but so close. I'd rate this on par with the near mis

asus nuc 15 pro vs minisforum x1
Depends on how you plan on using it. The Asus NUC 15 Pro is built for general office work, data analysis, programmers, and photo editors. Gaming is a side perk, but not the focus. It is also more durable and has a far better port layout. Minisforum X1 is mostly built for Linux programmers and gamers

Business Pc
Coming into 2026, and without no way software requirements for the office, I'd say something along the lines of an ASUS NUC 13 Pro NUC13ANKI7 Slim with the Core i7-1360P, 32GB RAM & a 1TB. Here's an example of one a shop customer purchased recently from Amazon to replace aging hardware. If you have

ASUS NUC 14 Pro - Any good for running Lightroom or Photoshop?
I would highly suggest you invest more into the base config (the CPU) than focusing on 64GB of RAM. Not only is RAM outrageously priced right now, unless you know you need 64GB of RAM, 32GB will be totally fine. Hell, my 2021 M1 MacBook Pro only has 16GB of RAM and I still use it today to edit photo

Should I build a PC or just grab a mini PC
Given your requirements, that geekom it15 is on sale right now for $950 prime day. The only other system I'm aware of with similar specs from an oem seller is Asus Nuc 15 pro plus, which I think is going to be in that price range but a little more expensive. The Asus has two Thunderbolt four ports i

ASUS NUC 14 Pro - Any good for running Lightroom or Photoshop?
You can, but it isn't as good as the models listed below due to a step back in single-core performance. Better options: M4 Mac Mini. Storage limitations and no SD card port, but external storage is cheap and helpful. It has the industry leading single core CPU performance; which massively helps proc

Geekom IT-15 or Asus NUC 15?
Without AI work and the current RAM price crises around the world, the Geekom IT 15 is the better value option. With AI work, Asus NUC 15 Pro is the better option. Same CPU, but Asus gets more out of it and offers gen 5 SSD storage for loading and saving large language models.
