To Micra, or to not? [$5600CAD]

I just got a Micra. I went from gaggia to ascaso steel uno to Micra. Just go straight to Micra and skip ascaso if you can afford it. It works so amazingly well

Best Espresso Machine under $2k? [$2,000]

I use beans from Peet's, so I'm not a coffee expert nor do I aspire to be. I have a Niche Zero grinder; I'm not looking to buy a new grinder. I'm just a regular person who wants to make 1-2 oat milk lattes a day for myself. Given that, I think there's strongly diminishing returns above a few hundred

Can’t decide between Dream machine and new kid on the block [$6000]

Then there’s lots of options that don’t use an E61 grouphead and don’t have flow profiling. Look at the Ascaso Steel UNO PID as an option, maybe

Siebträger bis 3500€

Ich habe eine ascaso Steel Uno Pid und liebe sie sehr! Die gibt es auch als Duo. Ist eine thermoblock Maschine, also sind die Zeiten kein Problem

[$2500] Looking to upgrade from BBP

This sort of thing is asked a million times a day. Personally, I would strongly recommend just getting a new grinder first! I think worrying about choosing and getting used to one new piece of equipment at a time makes more sense to me. And honestly if you make milk drinks, the Niche Zero is great!

Upgrading from breville bambino under [$2000]

If you like the convenience factor with the Bambino, I'd look at the Ascaso Steel Uno/Duo PID; also the Lucca Tempo at Clive Coffee.

Serious first set recommendation [Italy - €2500]

I don’t have any personal experience with it, but you might wang to look into the Ascaso steel uno/duo. They are high quality thermo block machines, and probably the fastest machine to heat up. Note that most machines need longer to get hot and ready to brew than just the boiler heat up time. After

Steel Uno

The steel uno PID is a solid machine, in this price range, quality control isn't always the best. Plenty of profitec's with issues, probably more than ascaso. The main benefit of the ascaso is heat up, if you go for the PID version, this one has the most configurability. The Lucca is decent, but kee

Advice needed: Bambino Plus and DF64 Gen 2 [$1200 - $2000]

The grinder is perfectly fine on that budget. I would spend more on the machine though. I had a Bambino Plus and it's fine for what it is at $500. But I really dislike the lack of a heated group head on the Bambino, which makes it a pain to warm up everything when you want to pull a shot. You end up

Blown Away at the Quality

These 3 are the top 3 reviewed entry level Italian made espresso machines. The ascaso steel uno and lelit mara x that I have cost way more than these 3. But I still like the gaggia e24 best haha
