Best Espresso Machine under $2k? [$2,000]

I use beans from Peet's, so I'm not a coffee expert nor do I aspire to be. I have a Niche Zero grinder; I'm not looking to buy a new grinder. I'm just a regular person who wants to make 1-2 oat milk lattes a day for myself. Given that, I think there's strongly diminishing returns above a few hundred

Siebträger bis 3500€

Ich habe eine ascaso Steel Uno Pid und liebe sie sehr! Die gibt es auch als Duo. Ist eine thermoblock Maschine, also sind die Zeiten kein Problem

Serious first set recommendation [Italy - €2500]

I don’t have any personal experience with it, but you might wang to look into the Ascaso steel uno/duo. They are high quality thermo block machines, and probably the fastest machine to heat up. Note that most machines need longer to get hot and ready to brew than just the boiler heat up time. After

Steel Uno

The steel uno PID is a solid machine, in this price range, quality control isn't always the best. Plenty of profitec's with issues, probably more than ascaso. The main benefit of the ascaso is heat up, if you go for the PID version, this one has the most configurability. The Lucca is decent, but kee

Worst part about traveling for Thanksgiving is having to leave my setup at home…

I missed my Ride when we were in vacation. Love this machine, upgraded from an Ascaso Steel Uno. I chose the Profitec Ride over the Linea Micra. Love the E61 group and ease of any maintenance down the road. And the durability for many years to come.

Ascaso Steel Uno vs. Profitec Go

Yep, agreed. My Breville barista express (~7 years old) pump died, I replaced it, and now there’s other issues occurring. I can’t find the Breville parts to fix it, and I’m hoping to find something that’s not as proprietary. Will send you a ping when I end up deciding. Honestly I am still tempted to

Upgrade Time, need advise [$1,000-$2,000 budget]

I currently have had an Ascaso Steel Uno PID for two years. Not one single issue with it. I also usually make two lattes for myself every morning. It only takes like a minute to get to steam power. And in that time I’ve poured my milk and cleaned my portafilter, etc. When I’m ready for latte number

Help Me Build My Dream Espresso Station (No Milk, Just Motor Oil-Thick Shots [no budget]

It sounds like you prefer dark espresso based on your description. A good conical grinder and any reputable machine will get you there. You only need a single boiler machine. I’d pick whatever you think looks best on you counter. More expensive machines often have group heads that take a long time t
