Apple unveils new Studio Display and all-new Studio Display XDR
The new Studio Display with a tilt-adjustable stand starts at $1,599, and Studio Display XDR with a tilt- and height-adjustable stand starts at $3,299. Ouch. Studio Display XDR replaces Pro Display XDR [...] Interesting that Apple will no longer offer a 32" 6K display.

Apple Studio Display XDR Review: We're All Pros Now!
RAM shortage out here making certain components completely unattainable for some, meanwhile Apples putting 12 gigs of RAM in a monitor (A19 Pro in Studio Display XDR)

Studio Display XDR Crashes Still Persist
man the studio display xdr is probably one of apple's best worst products. on one hand, it's an awesome display with a high resolution and great color accuracy. on the other hand, it's pretty buggy (atleast from what i've seen, i don't actually own one). so buggy that updating it might brick it, lik

Apple's Studio Display 2 Reportedly on Track to Launch This Year With These New Features
A bunch of companies have now released or are releasing superior 5k monitors, some with dual mode 5k/2k displays, mini led backlit, a lot with 180hz refresh rate, Asus has their super accurate/calibrate pro art 5k monitor now and they're all around or under $1000. First Studio Display was ridiculous

LG 27GM950B 5K Monitor Announced with a 2,304-zone Mini LED Backlight
It's $1,199.99 USD. Cheaper than Apples Studio Display, still a pretty penny that I won't be able to afford.

Apple Studio Display XDR Review: We're All Pros Now!
For $3000+ they might as well throw it in there. The Studio display in general is super overengineered if you watched the teardown, just like the $999 Pro Stand hinge mechanism. I guess that's what Apple does on their high end products when they aren't held back by a specific price point

Stacked wall mounted LG B5 65 inch OLED.
I have changed my setup a few times and wanted something with larger displays plus the ability to move my desk anywhere. Honestly, it is by far my favorite setup and so confirmable to use. I actually had a single Apple Studio Display, but for the same price replaced it with these two OLED Tv's

10 Years ago (Sept 2015) I made a post asking what would be the "one more thing" in Sept 2025. Let's see what people get right and wrong!
Here's my list. Assume typical annual improvements to battery life and performance across the board. MacBooks: Face ID integrated into the displays. Cellular chips (C1, C1X successors) and eSIMs integrated into MacBooks. Their own wireless chips (N1 successors) integrated into MacBooks. Those may bo

We ofiicialy have a display with a bettter chip than a computer
It basically comes down to: Apple needs the image signal processing unit to make the webcam look good ISP design is tied to the 3nm node Making a separate chip with only the ISP and simpler control logic is a ~$500,000,000 NRE project on 3nm The savings from this are likely sub-$50, so the Studio Di

I wonder why people really don’t prefer iMacs anymore?
The real question is Why doesn’t Apple make a ‘budget’ screen for all these people buying the mini. Theres no way everyone’s buying a £1.5k studio display so they’re leaving money on the table somewhere
