Can anyone recommend any miniPCs for SMB (0 to 600 dollar range?)

dell/lenovo/hp are most reliable mini/micro pcs since they are backed large companies and easier to find support ( parts/software/compatibility ) , they are long livers if you are looking for specs regardless of the brand or partsminisforum/ aoostar / gmktec / geekom / beelink i have some lil exprie

Most important criteria when deciding on a starter build

The absolute best option I've seen for a starter server is the Aoostar Maco R7. You get a decent 8c/16t CPU with an ok integrated GPU, plus 24GB of LPDDR5 6400, all for only $339 USD on Amazon right now. That CPU with that zippy RAM will outperform anything else near that price point. But you'll nee

Aoostar MACO Ryzen 9 Pro 8945HS

I liked it so much i got the entry level MACO 6850H coming tomorrow to try next. Only $300 on Amazon for bare bones with 24gig LPDDR5 or with a 1TB drive and OS for $430. I have a nvme drive on hand and Win11 Pro key so it will be interesting to see how that goes. The Win11 Pro install on the MACO 8

Anyone else having a pc gaming existential crisis moment with our modern market?

Step 1: Buy a Mini PC : Recommend an Aoostar MACO 6850H on Amazon for around $300. This will be the core of the build. Step 2: Add an SSD The MACO 6850H does not come with storage it does come with 24GB of DRAM, so install an SSD before doing anything else. Any standard M.2 drive will work if you al

What would you say is a good ‘Budget’ range for a Light 3D modeling Mini PC?

Aoostar MACO 8945HS has similar/slightly better specs for $640 on Amazon. The Oculink does not take up a NVME spot on the MACOs. GMKtek has similar minis between the MACO and Minisforum in pricing. 8945HS and 8845HS are both super close in real world speed and benchmarks. The H255 based minis will b

What to buy?

It would help to know which i7 8th Gen/8GB RAM laptop you're coming from. As an example a Dell Latitude 7400 with 8GB of RAM can struggle with Windows in 2026, sometimes single (one stick), making additional memory and new thermal grease the next step. Alternately the old NVMe can be moved to a dono

Have a Beelink SER5 MAX 5800H, would like to upgrade to something new for better gaming performance - what are my options?

So what I would personally recommend is one of the Aoostar Maco mini PCs assuming pricing isn’t too crazy in AU. On Amazon in the US, the 6850h version with 24GB LPDDR5x 6400 is only $340. It doesn’t come with an SSD, but you already have one, it DOES come with oculink though, giving a good eGPU upg

Mini PC Retro Gaming Device - Novice Researcher looking for understanding...

No need for the "thanks"! I taught everything from elementary school to college students over the years. Patience is a required virtue 😉 To be honest I know people who are who are using the M8 PRO 6650H for console emulation that are completely satisfied! The Radeon 660M are lighter than the 780M bu

Need Advice Choosing a Mini PC for My Daughter

32Gb is overkill for tabs. This option is 24GB and quality. https://www.amazon.com/AOOSTAR-MACO-AMD-Ryzen-OpenClaw/dp/B0GG9S35PC Dont worry about the OpenClaw jazz you don’t have to use it. Comes with Windows pre-installed.
