Check the thermal design before you buy. While the Beelinks look nice, their cooling and related case design is more for looks than efficiency ... I have an Aoostar GEM12+ and that can game for hours without thermal problems ...

I bought the AOOSTAR GEM12 8845HS with 128GB and I get this numbers, pretty good for a $700 mini pc IMO. All layers offloaded to the 780M with Vulkan (llama.cpp). On infererence the temps are around 60-65 C, I have it hanging behind the monitor and is silent during casual usage and only a small hum

As an FYI and probably not a lot of difference but the Aoostar GEM12+ has the Ryzen 7 Pro 8845HS and the K8 Plus has the standard 8845HS.

A few "things". The 8945HS tends to cost more/dissipate slightly greater heat than the Ryzen 7 8845HS, with less than a 5% gain in processing power. The actual intent is to assist in supporting a dGPU in laptops (or eGPU for mPCs), although the findings "for software development, engineering simulat

This is a great question, and as you can see comment no one has a solid idea. For all intents & purposes, the AooStar WTR MAX 8845HS is a 6x 3.5" SATA + 3x Gen4x2 2280 NVMe + 2x Gen4x1 NAS With 2x X710 10GbE LAN (SFP+) + 2x i226V 2.5GbE Built around a GEM12 8845HS mPC Expendable to 128GB With SFF-86

Great feedback, thanks! I also started shying away from the 8745hs and the H255 as I did more research. I went with a Aoostar GEM12+ Pro without the led screen (version with the little screen seemed to have more negative reviews). I got it through Amazon so have until January 31, 2026 to return it i

Glad your family and yourself are enjoying the P3. I don't have either mini pc but the closest I have are the Beelink SER6 6900HX and GTR7 Pro 7940HS which are not exact but similar to the Bosgame P3 and M2. If you are looking for M2 reviews, it is a clone and reskin of the Herk Orion1 Pro and their

Tianbei manufactured/released these two almost simultaneously The GEM12 Pro MAX supports a standard Ryzen 7 8845HS APU which can support a maximum TDP of 75W under maximum boost. The GEM12+ Pro supports the more stable Ryzen 7 PRO 8845HS APU which is meant to be high quality, although the maximum TD

Native SFF-8612 i4 OCuLink + Hawk Point 8040 series/Hawk Point Refresh 200 series APUs quickly narrows the field. The AooStar GEM12+ Pro 8845HS & GMKtec NucBox K8 Plus/K11 sum up popularity, both sharing a similar PCB architecture. IMHO, I've found more GEM12s & NucBox K11s on the diagnostics bench
